The food is terrible, the place is old and dirty. Some one said they even saw roaches. It would not surprise me at all. The new owners are not southern and neither is the food. It was rather greasy and lacking in taste. Totally disappointed.

Consistently good food and friendly service. We had a Reuben and chicken parmigiana which were delicious. Neither the food nor the surroundings are fancy but it is a great place to go for a down home good meal where everyone is treated like family.

Waited an hour for food in spite of the fact that there seemed to be enough staff. Realized that the wait staff switched tables after each customer. Never received a check. Person at the register couldn't find our ticket or our server. Won't be back. Visualizza piatti

Stopped in for quick meal on trip back from Richmond. The staff were attentive and nice food was average. The tables,floors counters and restrooms were dirty and dusty. Do they own a mop anx lysol? There were broken seats and junk in the parking lot area..

Yes this place may need a little update and the parking lot replaced. But I go there for the food. Never had a bad meal. We try to go there every time we are in the area. Sometimes we go when not in the area just to have a great meal. My husband loves their chicken and I love the fish. But no matter what you have it is very tasty!!

County cafe with the quinine one would expect burgers, sandwiches, country fried steak, etc. We each had a chef salad and they were well prepared and generous. We sat and talked after lunch and the staff could not have been nicer, asking if we would like more iced tea or anything else and insisting that we take our time and enjoy the afternoon. Building a house in Palmyra and while in the area, this is our go to restaurant. Staff friendly, everything made fresh and if you have the lucky chance to buy the homemade lemon cake it is a must. This is one of those places you must visit. Reasonable priced. Try the corn beef hash, excellent. Cat fish is also fresh and moist. Never disappointed. thank you staff.

I was out for a drive and was hungry and found the Crescent Inn. I stopped in and was seated promptly with a glass of sweet tea. I tried the country fried steak with gravy and sides of Mac and cheese and potato salad. The country fried steak and Mac and cheese were served hot and tasty. Potato salad was freshly made and tasty too. Much better food than described in recent reviews.

We've been going to the Crescent Inn for years when we want old-school diner food. Their fried chicken is hands-down the best in the region. Be prepared to wait because they cook each batch to order so it takes about 20 minutes. It's our go-to for parties and tail-gating, and they rotate in country classics as specials too. It's not much to look at, but then diners aren't supposed to be dripping with ambiance. Enjoy its authenticity... and that fried chicken! Visualizza piatti
