We eat out several times a week at various restaurants. Cresson Springs is by far our favorite! The food is always great, with a homemade quality. Tons of choices! When traveling we always to look for the small family owned places. This was a great find. My son had the chicken noodle soup and hasn't stopped talking about. He has me trying to recreate it, but so far he told all my attempts have not even come close. Trying to plan another trip that will take us by here again just so he can get more of that soup. I adore places like this that capture the timeless charm of America, complete with a cozy atmosphere and warm-hearted staff. That alone is enough to bring me back. And on top of that, the comfort food is fantastic, with a wide variety of meals and specialties to choose from. There truly is something for everyone, and the options are plentiful. One standout dish was Haluski, a delicious Polish dish made with cabbage and buttery noodles, which isn’t on their regular menu. I really enjoy visiting places like this! Just take a look at it!

On a whim, prompted by a local cousin's recommendation, our family decided to stop here for lunch after attending a funeral. The staff were incredibly accommodating for our large group, and everything was ordered correctly. I opted for the BLT with extra bacon and fries, and it did not disappoint! My mother had the fried fish (I think it was catfish) and she shared a piece with me. Wow! It was a generous portion and really delicious. Both my mother and uncle enjoyed a hefty slice of pumpkin cake for dessert. Everyone left feeling satisfied and happy.
