Welcoming, friendly and cozy, there?s ample seating amongst oil paintings and other decor. Staff is super kind and food is clearly all freshly made for each patron. The sangria is GOOD!highly recommend, especially to other silver springers that are considering going to dc for dinner. skip the traffic, the reservations and the disappointment and head here.

I absolutely adore the shrimp with garlic and rice—it's exceptional! The staff is fantastic, and both the atmosphere and location are pleasant. I rarely have to wait for a seat. While the other dishes are decent, that's the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. It's a great go-to spot, and I've been returning regularly since they opened. It's suitable for larger groups, but I'm not sure if there's a private room available.

I've been going to one of my favorite restaurants in Silver Spring, Cubanos, for close to 20 years now, and it's always a great time. My family and I have been regulars at Cubano's for years, and the food is consistently outstanding. The staff always greets you with a smile, making you feel at home, and you can tell they genuinely enjoy having you there. My husband and I are particularly fond of their green sauce, and they always provide extra without us even asking. The restaurant is clean and beautifully decorated, giving you the feeling of dining in a nice restaurant in Cuba. Be sure to have Shazam ready, as the music is fantastic. I opted for the vaca frita instead, but it was just average, the portions were quite small, and the prices didn't match the quality of the food. What struck me the most was how empty the place was for a Saturday late lunch—almost reminiscent of a COVID lockdown.
