"Dal Rae is an Institution and has been around since 1951. This place is totally old school, and in the best way possible. It reminds me of old, classy Hollywood with the overstuffed booths, dim lighting, piano bar and ambience. There is tableside preparation for their signature Caesar Salad and the flambe desserts, that you rarely see anymore, such as Bananas Foster and Cherries Jubiless. Romantic restaurants are no longer plentiful, and this is perfect for a first date, anniversary, birthdays, or just good food. It isn't light on the wallet, but the food is quality. We had the Oysters Rockefeller, which were the best I ever had. We also had the Crab stuffed Artichoke Bottoms you can have Crab Stuffed Mushrooms or Artichoke Bottoms, but Mushrooms you can find on other menus. Never saw the Artichoke version. .The Crab Stuffed Artichoke Bottoms melt in your mouth and were unbelievably good. We shared the prepared at your tableside Caesar Salad there is enough for 4 and again, never had a better Caesar Salad, made with their own homemade dressing, prepared right in front of you. For entrees the melt in your mouth Chilean Sea Bass was beyound comparison and the Prime Rib was as good as any place I have ever had. I was celebrating my birthday, and did not have room for dessert, but the table ordered Bananas Foster, just for the experience, and it did not disappoint. This restaurant provides an experience vs. a dinner out. Additionally, the menu is very large, and I can imagine everything is excellent. This would be my number one recommendation of any restaurants in L.A. County that I have frequented, and there have been many. This just stands alone based on the variety of menu, quality and tasted of food, the tableside experience and ambience. Too top it all off, the service was very attentive."

Last time we went to Dal Rae was before covid. Went with a nice group of friends and it was great! Food and service were still amazing, we all had great food and a lovely time. Will be going back soon.

Sea bass is delicious and steaks are perfect! Caesar salad for two (dinner, not lunch) is prepared table side and a great show! Espresso martini is a favorite! Our server, Javier, was excellent! Can't wait to go back!

Lunch with Flower Dawn is guaranteed to be a delight! Ahi on toast with avocado is my go to and is always perfectly prepared. I also have to give a shout out to Faustino...he really knows how to make customers feel special.

We were seated immediately. The service was excellent, I had the double cut pork chop that was cooked Just the way i like it, the Chilean sea bass was excellent as usual, the steaks were cooked to perfection and the drinks hit the spot. Never ever had a bad meal here. The best steak house in Pico Rivera and the surrounding areas!!

My friend and I celebrate our birthdays here as a tradition and it is about 1/2 between our houses. We love having a drink at the bar, splitting a Caesar salad and then we usually have the fish alla Ben depending on what is in season. Last night was the Chilean Sea Bass and it was fantastic! The Filet, Prime Rib, Chilean Sea Bass and the Thomohawk Rib Eye were exceptional!! The big Caesar Salad was delicious and prepared at our table side. I will definitely go back!! Oh I forgot the Crème Brûlée, Butter Cake and Bread Pudding topped off our delicious meal. They also include a vegetable, baked potato or rice and bread with your meal.

Without a doubt one of the finer restaurants in the Los Angeles area. Dal Rae has maintained high quality food exceptional service for the past 6 decades that I have personally observed. However some of the unique qualities have fallen by the wayside. They no longer do the wilted spinach salad at table side. The unique service was provided by the owner and the tradition was carried on by his sons. This along with the elimination of the relish tray made them stand out from the crowded restaurant scene.
