"We went yesterday for a late lunch. It was pretty busy so we waited for about 15 min, not a big deal. Our server was super nice and really helpful. Fried green tomatoes, chili, and the supreme and the other horse shoe we ordered were amazing! Definitely will be back next time we are in town. Fantastic atmosphere and food. Horseshoe/ponyshoe and super nachos were amazing. A favorite place of mine.

Don't think D'arcy has the best horseshoe in Springfield. They are disgusting and completely overestimated. As someone who lives in Springfield my whole life, these horses are not even in the top 25.

it came highly recommended so we tried it. Famous for their Horseshoe but honestly it didn?t really appeal to me. The menu has a great variety to choose from. Our waitress was super friendly. All the food was good. Nachos. Black and Bleu salad. Grilledchicken Smoked gouda chipotle apple butter sandwich.

"The food was delicious and service top-notch! Our waiter was was so genuine and incredibly friendly even though it was just before the lunch close time. He never made us feel rushed and had a great conversation with us about the restaurant which we were visiting for the first time as we stopped in Springfield on our route to Oshkosh. I'd stop again...even though a bit out of our way...well worth it!"

"The service was great. Salsa was amazing. Bean and cheese dip fantastic. The elite bites are so different and I highly recommend but I do think they should be served with some kind of dipping sauce maybe like a parmesan mayo sauce blend? The beans areamazing. The vegetarian dishes the vegetables in them could use some seasoning and cooked a little longer as they still had araw taste to them. Margaritas are good but I wish it would've been served with salt/sugar around the rim and a lime. Overall anice place to eat and the food was good."

Their soups are fantastic, with several varieties typically available. "I was really craving BBQ, so I decided to check out this restaurant. I was extremely pleased with the meal! I ordered the pulled pork and brisket, accompanied by mac and cheese and a hearty bread. My friend had the sausage with potato salad and chili. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals; the flavors were fantastic. You know how some BBQ places have a uniform taste? Well, each type of meat here had its own distinct flavor, which went wonderfully with the BBQ sauces. The bread was dense, and I saved some to take home. The fries had a clean taste, and the mac and cheese was excellent as well. If I had a visitor from out of town, I would definitely bring them here. My friend even declared that this is our BBQ spot now. We will surely be back!"

"This was my first time ordering from this restaurant. We were looking to try a few different places, but they were all closed, likely due to staffing shortages. We placed our order for three "horseshoes" at 6 PM, but didn’t receive our food until 7:30 PM. Unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing: 1) The fries were starchy and undercooked. 2) The cheese was just nacho cheese sauce, which was really unappetizing. 3) The chicken on two of the horseshoes was extremely chewy and dry, lacking any flavor except for the unpleasant taste of freezer burn. To make matters worse, the chicken on the kids' horseshoe was still raw. 4) The pork on one of the horseshoes was dry, and some bites were mushy. 5) The lemonade was terrible; I can't even describe it properly. I won't be ordering from here again. As for the owner’s response, yes, the other places we tried were indeed closed; it's a fact that many restaurants are facing staffing challenges due to the pandemic. If you claim that nothing is battered, then can you explain what the crust on my chicken or pork was? If the food isn’t frozen, why was it so chewy, dry, and mushy? If the cheese isn’t nacho sauce, then why did it taste exactly like it? The lemonade tasted like diluted lemon water. If you're going to take your frustration out on a customer instead of addressing the issues in your kitchen, then perhaps customer service isn't for you. Based on what I've read in other reviews—many of which are negative—it seems there are ongoing issues here. Please don’t make a bad experience worse by being rude to me."
