"Tarpon Springs is an interesting place to visit. There 's an odd mix of tourists, locals, and out-of-towners that keeps the area feeling like a tourist trap, but still maintains a certain local charm. Being a settlement of the Greeks back in the day for sponge diving, there is certainly no shortage of Greek themed food establishments. Yeah, some famous named TV chef endorses this one restaurant, and some slightly famous food video blogger raves about another, blah blah. But there is a nice, slightly off the path gem called Costa 's right there in the center of town. First, the service. perfect every time. Nice, friendly, and prompt. Second, the prices are very reasonable. Third, the food is quite simply the best Greek/Mediterranean cuisine on the planet. Portions are more than sufficient to satisfy the largest appetites. Always start with the Saganaki (flaming cheese). We 've had so many wonderful dishes here. The Mousaka will blow your mind! The lamb shank can almost feed two. The Souvlaki (chicken or pork) is so juicy and tender and comes with a ton of garnishes. Their Greek salad is a work of art and comes with a dressing that nears a religious experience. Let 's talk Gyro meat for a second. There are so many variations and recipes for a good Gyro. But, Costa 's has the absolute best Gyro meat on the planet. The seasonings aren 't over bearing and the meat is always glistening with juices and so very tender. When in Tarpon Springs, get away from the dolphin cruise barkers and redundant tourist gift shops for a bit and sit your butt down at Costa 's for grub. You will NOT leave hungry, guaranteed. I would recommend doing a dolphin cruise, BEFORE eating though. There are no public facilities on Anclote Island and the accommodations on the dolphin cruises would be less than desirable for any such... needs ."

"Excellent food and service at Jimmy?s! We ate there the other night and Autumn was an absolute gem. This is one of the best restaurants in Tarpon Springs for quality Italian American and Greek dishes. Their saganaki- flaming Greek halloumi cheese is the best I?ve eaten in Tarpon Springs. I highly recommend their homemade lasagna as it?s absolutely divine and a great value dish. It?s impossible to make a better lasagna. I also recommend their homemade cheesecake with raspberry purée for dessert as it?s also excellent. Fellow customers were raving to us about the pizzas, which are also very popular as Jimmy?s makes the dough in house. Ask for recommendations and select what?s made in house, as it?s prepared with love. I can?t wait to return to try one of their delicious looking pizzas!"

"The calamari. Oh. My. Goodness. I would leave it at that but there's so much more to love about this place. The ingredients are nothing short of the restaurant's name Fresh. My little one ordered pizza and they brought the dough out and allowed her toput the sauce and cheese on herself. She loved it so much, we have been eating imaginary pizzas she makes since then. Thefamily friendly environment and staff really topped off our experience, and the cheesecake helped with that too. I look forwardto Giovannis becoming a staple and favorite for me and so many others."

"My wife ordered the Escargot appetizer, and despite my initial hesitation, I was pleasantly surprised by how tasty it was. The mushrooms and cream sauce complemented the escargot beautifully. While the main courses seemed a bit pricey, the portion sizes made them worth it. I had the osso bucco with grits, and the meat was cooked to perfection and impeccably seasoned—it practically fell off the bone and melted in my mouth. My only minor complaint was that the carrots were a tad salty, but that didn't matter much given how fantastic the meat was. My wife opted for the duck served with potatoes and corn. Her duck was also cooked perfectly—super tender with crispy, well-seasoned skin, and paired with a blackberry coulis that added just the right touch of sweetness to the rich duck. Her side dishes were delightful as well. The menu features so many other intriguing dishes that we're eager to try, and we can't wait to return!"

"Not at all what we expected. We had never been here before, so when reading about the fine dining restaurant at Innisbrook, and looking at the menu, we expected a fine dining experience, not dinner in a golf clubhouse that felt like we were in a banquet hall. I 'm sure it 's a great place to dine after a round of golf, but marketing it to be a fine dining restaurant is really a shame. Where do you set the bar if this is called fine dining? Just because you charge more for the food?"
