"My wife and I stopped in for lunch and always order food from this location have always said we'll just have to stop in sometime for lunch maybe; because of the relaxed open atmosphere of the restaurant. We were quickly seated and order taken along with food prepared along with appetizers were served in great timing. The food of course was the great taste and quality as always, but I tell you, getting it fresh and hot out straight off the fire is priceless. Now I will tell you that they have very nice size portions as they do when you order for delivery which is great, but just to let you know because I believe in tipping and think if you don't then we need to have a conversation. But I was ready to give a tip but being use all types of restaurants, I checked to see if their was an 18 or 20% because the food was very good. But in actually the act of tipping is not on the food but on the server. Since we didn't have a designated server, an automatic gratuity should not be added if the crowd is low and no need for server. But to get off of that topic, But bottom line regardless of the tip thing i just noted a cost fact but the experience was romantic and amazing along some of the best favorable food with seasonings and spices. But if you have a chce stop in for lunch or dinner, i assure you an amazing time. Im a professional reviewer and believe in being honest with every single review that I do and never to misguide."

"Anniversary dinner with our two children, 8 and 10. We decided to sit out on the porch on a fairly humid June evening and the ceiling fans made for a nice breeze. We find most of the restaurants are overly air-conditioned, but Metro 8 didn't seem like a fridge even when we came in - that's a big plus for me! Our waitress was very nice and attentive without getting involved. She noted that it was nice to see kids with books (and math in our conversation) instead of iPads. The steaks my husband and I ordered were as advertised and delicious. So were the pages. Our girls loved their grilled chicken. Cocktails were good and just the right strength. Highly recommended."

"Kendal was absolutely 100% inviting for my first time here. Upon arrival he gave me a hug and welcomed me I complemented his scent He said yeah that’s Friday baby and slid me over a drink I said how do you know what I drink? He said, I just know. Happy Friday!!! then we had some good eats over at bizarro and son, which is conveniently in the same place.. Chips and salsa were top-notch, followed by his personal take on the Cuban, which was absolutely dazzling so I ordered it twice. Currently waiting on my dessert. he even introduced me to the rest of the back of House crew. Steve was very nice and made me a bracelet out of glass right there on the spot. And then Jason who runs like lightning when an order hits the window to make sure it gets to the table in due time every time, he walked by he laughed at all my jokes and one time he even fixed my shirt collar and for that I thank him. I’ll be back. Mark my words."

"I use to love this place. We haven’t been in since Covid hit. Since there is a sense of normalcy in the world now we went in there this morning with high hopes of having a nice warm breakfast but lo and behold we walked into an atmosphere of fear and depression. What made this lace is great is gone.It was maybe 60 degrees in there. The owner looked miserable. It looked like they we’re using the place as a storage unit.We decided to go to Bacon and Jam.The plandemic is over, time to move on."
