"Walked into Dee?s Diner in Goldsboro, NC, I did not know what to expect. Of course, this was my first dinning experience. The restaurant reminded me of a cafeteria without the buffet. There were weekday specials with other options on the menu. Theservice was My meal consisted of the Wednesday?s special: Baby Back Ribs (pork) served with yam soufflé and tossed salad alongwith a dress of sweet tea. The ribs were extremely tender and tasty; the yam soufflé could have been a little hotter andsweeter as well as some of the sweet potatoes could have been mashed up more; the salad tasted good. My strawberry cake wasamazing. Overall, my dinning experience is good. I would visit again."

Food ok, waiter complain of being tired and ready 2 go. Waiter spilled tea on us and dropped dirty untensils n lap on Sunday's best(clothes). Waiter address you as hun, sugg, sweetie etc. Atmosphere ok

The gravy was unexpectedly brown for some reason. The brownies can be either really delicious or stale, like the ones I had today. There’s also a 50/50 chance they won’t have any brownies available at all.

The food was tasty, and the delivery person was excellent, but Dees Diner mixed up my order. I requested a pancake and a country ham sandwich, but I received a pancake and just a whole slice of country ham—no sandwich included. This restaurant serves old food every day. The meals you eat on one day of the week will be the same stale food you get the next. I know someone who works there, and they advised me not to eat anything before 5 PM. The staff only consumes food straight off the grill, which is made fresh at that moment. And don't even get me started on the bacon – it’s awful! How can bacon possibly be old at 7 in the morning?

Firstly, the hostess was absolutely fantastic, and she was quite attractive too! She assisted me with my order, and it turned out to be the perfect choice. I enjoyed the ribs, mashed potatoes, and collard greens. I couldn't wait to dig in and started eating before I even got back to the hotel! Everything was incredibly delicious! She mentioned that I should return on a Friday to try the seafood, and I definitely plan to do so! They also offer daily specials, and you can't beat the prices!
