"Never order out and thought id splurge a little. Made an order through toast, came missing the shake, which was fine except its like a $10 shake. Checked toast and toast said to contact the restaurant. Contacted the restaurant and the girl on the phone said contact toast. I told her toast said to contact them. She was just silent on the phone, didn 't say anything. I said well what can I do, she just said I don 't know.... I said well is there someone there who does know? She just goes no.... . I said can I at least get a refund? She just says no..... . Like dude, help me out at least a little. Super irritating and I don 't really have $10 to just throw in the trash like that. Really wish she would 've given me SOMETHING to work with. Definitely need to train the people picking up the phones better. Def won 't order from this location again."

Went with the Chili Dog. Tasted great, and the dog had a great snap to it.Food: 5/5

Good hot dogs. Variety of choices. Need to go back and try others. Great fresh cut fries. Reminded me of the long lost Demon Dogs under the El tracks. Miss that place.Food: 4/5

The Chicago dog is a classic at this place, and they really pile on the toppings! You can't go wrong with this go-to choice. The tots are just your standard frozen variety. Overall, I give the food a solid 5 out of 5! Visualizza piatti

The restaurant has a bit of a dirty and rundown appearance, but it offers a decent menu. I ordered a Chicago-style hot dog, and while the toppings and bun were fantastic, the hot dog itself was old and rubbery. I was hoping for a much better experience. Overall, I would rate the food a 3 out of 5.

This place is aptly named Devil Dawgs—be ready for an unpleasant experience about thirty minutes after your meal. I really think they should reassess their food safety practices, as I suspect I might have gotten staph food poisoning. On a positive note, the hot dog and milkshake were generally tasty, as they usually are.

Kinda just speechless, I worked in food service industry and never really treated my customers like grandma over here did to me. I’m cool and chill and polite and I was met with 1 word responses and hand gestures. I get not having to be smiling all the time but you don’t have to be rude, and the food is only decentFood: 3/5 Visualizza piatti

Wouldn't spend my hard working money on this place again. This is a real review. We didn't receive all the food ordered. The fries were cold like the fridge. They smelt bad before taken out of the bag. The slider was more like a meat ball. The bun was so soggy it was straight bbq sauce. Had to use my own bread from the grocery store. Waited 1hr and 15mins for my food to be delivered. When I called to have my food remade they told me they are to busy and I will get a refund.

While in Chicago I obviously had to try a Chicago style dog so we stopped at Devil Dawgs before heading out of town. I got the Chicago style dog and fries. The price point was average. The fries were good but nothing special. The hotdog was pretty good I got everything on it but sport peppers due to an allergy. Although the taste is a little different I did enjoy it. There wasn't anything bad about Devil Dawgs but there wasn't anything special. If I came back to Chicago I would probably try a Chicago style dog somewhere else to compare.

"Tempesta is arguably one of the best sandwich shops in the city. They make a lot of their meats in house and use high quality ingredients so you know you’re getting the good stuff. Not only can you get a great sandwich, you can purchase most of their meats to go as well as other small artisanal grocery items. I have tried almost every sandwich they have on the menu but my top two choices would be the #1 The Dante and the #2 Yo! Vincenzo! The Dante is their version of a classic Italian sandwich but a bit on the spicier side. The Yo Vincenzo is a chicken parm and I personally think it’s the best chicken parm sandwich in the city. The chicken is perfectly crispy, and they use just the right amount of sauce where it doesn’t get soggy. Both of these sandwiches come on their fresh baguette which helps set them apart from other sandwich spots in Chicago just because of how good it is. The B Franklin is also a great option, and if you’re starving get the Wagyu Pastrami but be warned it is a very heavy sandwich because of that Wagyu. The last pro tip I’ll add in here is order your sandwich ahead of time if you’re doing takeout. This is a very popular spot and is always busy during the lunch rush so if you wait to order until you arrive you may need to wait for 10-15 minutes. That should speak to how good this place is because it’s in such high demand, so if you’re in Chicago make sure you stop in!"
