The food was very good but our waiter was outstanding! Friendly, not pushy, and anticipated or needs.

Really enjoyed the comfortable, cozy atmosphere. We sat downstairs. The food was good and our server was wonderful.

I came here a few months ago and was very pleased. However, this time I was very disappointed. I ordered the same meal and was very displeased. The food was lukewarm and service was just ok. I will not be returning.

Went after my proposal to my GF and the Tavern was romantic and the food outstanding! Wait Staff was accommodating and although they lacked the wine I wanted the bar tender suggested an adequate substitute. Will make this a favorite place in years to come!!!!

Both our brunch items (omlettes) were very dry. I ordered the seafood which contained a very small amount of seafood and was dried out. A seafood sauce would have made the omlette more enjoyable. The other omlette was veggie which also was desperately in need of a sauce. We were seated by ourselves as there were no other diners there at the 9:30 reservation. Visualizza piatti

I love coming to the DeWolf Tavern, particularly during restaurant week. You get to sample foods that you might not ordinarily choose. The Tandoori Chicken was wonderful as was the butternut squash soup. I have to say our waiter, Mike, was stupendous. He was beyond accommodating and our group enjoyed a lot of laughs with him. Great, great place for food and atmosphere.

Our waiter made sure my husband's filet was cooked perfectly. He paced our meal just the way we like it. i think if his helper and he communicated a bit more the experience would have rated 5 stars. (The helper asked if I wanted to box my food, which I barely touched. I said no. I dont think our waiter knew that i was not enjoying my meal) The fish and clams tasted very fishy....The local cheese were delicious, portions generous. our waiter also let me pretaste the sherries before I ordered.....wonderful view.

I eat often at DeWolf Tavern as I know the food is delicious on a somewhat unusual menu. Because it is located in the heart of Bristol, RI, on the waterfront, it's a great place to take visitors who want to enjoy the sights of an historic New England shipping town dating from the late 1600s. The restaurant is upscale without being too expensive. It's fairly large, so often there is seating without reservations; nevertheless, the ambience is warm and intimate. If it's fall and turning cold or it's winter try to reserve a table near the fireplace. Visualizza piatti
