"My daughter and I ate here and it was delicious. Emily was an incredibly sweet and attentive server and I highly recommend LH. Please give Chef Edgar a pay raise to ensure his employment...his food is absolutely amazing! Our steaks were cooked to perfection which my daughter was very impressed with as she is a picky eater. She said her steak had a nice char and was deliciously juicy even as a medium-well steak. We will definitely be back!"

"We met the owner on one of the few times we have a date night, his name was John I think he composed our entire meal and told us he understood how hard it is to get childcare, and in our case.... Now he's right. We live 65 miles from the majority of our family. He didn't have to do this, but he did it as a gesture of sincerity as an entrepreneur and mutual understanding of parenthood. This place has become our new place. To get to the food aspects, well... what can I say it was fantastic. I had a Pesto Basil Rigatoni and it was stellar, as good as I didn't want to finish it, one of the best pesto sauces I had in years. The servers are attentive, even if they are extremely busy, do not skip a beat and make sure you come to your table to check on you. Well, in fact, I ended up with an extra drink. Due to this and the fact that we had compose our meal for free, we have tipped very largely for this kind of service. I would recommend this place to anyone, the owner really cares for his clientele and I can only hope that if he is in need, I can pay the favor to him back."

"My first time getting lunch here. I had a small garden salad (which really wasn’t all that small), and their Submarine sandwich. I was very pleased with both. The salad had really big chunks of tomato, a good sampling of red onions, and tasty fresh cucumbers. The sub was nicely prepared with thick slices of tomato, the proper amount of typical submarine meats, American cheese, lettuce, a smattering of onions, along with their special dressing. I couldn’t finish it all so dinner will be meal No. 2. That’s a great value to me. Try them out. I’m sure you won’t be disappointed! "

"We were in Chattanooga visiting family and went here with them for dinner. Reservations for 5.45 and we were seated promptly with no wait at all. We started off with some Okra Chips and Rajas. I am a huge fan of some fried okra, but this dish broughtokra to a whole new level! So tasty and crispy. The rajas were also delicious, a very unique dish. I ordered the Pan RoastedScallops with a side of Sauteed Mushrooms while my wife chose the Shrimp and Grits. The scallops were delicious! A perfectsear on them and cooked just right! That brown butter jus was super and the addition of the maitake mushroom was the rightaddition to the meal without being overbearing. My side dish of sauteed mushrooms was phenomenal I am a big fan of mushroomsand this was a tasty mix of cremini, shiitake, maitake mushrooms with some heat from the calabrian chili in the sauce. I wasable to grab a bit of my wife's shrimp and grits and they were delicious...most likely the best I have had at a restaurant. Thegrits were cooked just right (which is so critical in this dish). The shrimp had a really good flavor and the andouille sausageadded a little kick of heat to the whole dish...just right. We finished off the night with the Grownup S?mores SO, SO, SO, SOGOOD! Our server, Grace, was wonderful as well. Whether you're in Chattanooga for a visit or you live here, you owe it to yourtaste buds to check out Sidetrack...I don't think you'll be disappointed."
