If there's shredded pig on the menu, it's a real sign that it's a good Mexican restaurant! This place roasted shredded pork. They don't play. So delicious!

We live in Topeka. Every time we come to Kansas City, we eat here. In fact, we have been coming to Don Chilitos since my kids were little. They are grown now.

I've been here with my family for 25 years. I'll take my kids here. All reviews that say they warm up the food before you are correct. It's tex-mex, not an authentic Mexican food. We still love it and drive for 40 minutes to get my fav dish, Chili Relenos. The con queso is always delish and I grab some to take home. Thank you for being a constant Yammy-spindle in my life!

We started coming to Don Chilitos in 1974. We moved from Manhattan, KS to Rowland Park in ‘72 and then to Fairway in ‘74. Our neighbors across the street, Doug and Suzanne Rousallo introduced us to Don Chilitos. We moved to Topeka in ‘78 but we still come to KC and visit the restaurant from Tim to time. Always good, always good prices and great quantity for the price. Great people also. Lots of fun times at this great restaurant.
