"We ordered a corned beef sandwich, after a few bites we discovered it wasn't corned beef, it was indeed roast beef. When questioned, the line cook told the server to tell us it was pastrami. It was NOT pastrami. We did not order roast beef nor did we order pastrami. We ordered corned beef. No need to lie about it. Never lie to a customer about the food you are serving them and certainly dont tell them that it's something else entirely. Period. But should you need to, save it for someone who doesn't know the difference. Also, microwaving cheese on a crock of onion soup doesn't make it French onion soup. It just makes it onion soup with microwaved cheese and the menu should reflect that. Lastly, the fried green tomato caprese was decent, and surprised me with a sprinkle of cilantro, which made my tastebuds sing, but it should be served with drizzled balsamic glaze, not a ramekin of cheap, below- grade balsamic. Also, red tomato was tasteless and mealy. Try this nonsense in Waffle House, not a dining establishment in the beautiful area of Pinehurst, where people have a more developed palette."

We had a wonderful experience at the restaurant with Camille as our bartender. She was fantastic and provided excellent service. The drinks and food were also exceptional.

I had dinner nearby at the Pinehurst Brewery and wanted a dessert but they didn't have any. Went exploring and found this super cozy pub up the street. They had this lovely treat that hit the spot along w a good cup of coffee. I'll come back for sure for a meal.

I used to frequent this restaurant when it was still known as Darling House. Under new ownership and several changes later, it has become a fantastic spot to enjoy a delicious meal and drinks while hanging out. The atmosphere is great, with plenty of space around a large square.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant in Pinehurst Village. The atmosphere and location were fantastic. The staff was kind enough to accommodate my dietary restrictions by making my Mahi tacos without the tortillas. The pub was great, and I will definitely return when I am in the area again. This restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere, a wonderful menu, and friendly staff who make sure that guests feel welcome and have a memorable experience. We popped in for a quick cocktail and bite to eat while the ladies explored the village. I highly recommend trying their delicious house-made pimento cheeseburger.

We stop for dinner yesterday as last minute people choice. I didn't expect it to think much? A bar of everything will be frozen food. I was so wrong. Fish and chips were freshly produced. The tacos were amazing, but was now unusual, our waitress Lisa was. She was efficient, never forget about us, was at the top of the refills and the best part was that she had an amazing personality. We will come back

I've been to the Drum and Quill many times for dinner and lunch. Mostly I've ordered food so I can't speak to the quality of the drinks. The burgers are excellent and so is the Reuben sandwich. They don't skimp on the meat. I will say the Reuben could use a little more cheese and sauce to finish it off perfectly. The house veggies are great and the potato salad is absolutely delicious. Well worth the price. Visualizza piatti

If I could give this restaurant a negative star rating, I would. The food took a very long time to arrive. When we inquired about our order, the waitress told us that it had been served cold and had to be sent back. Other tables who arrived after us were served before us. When our food finally arrived, the shrimp was undercooked and the overall quality was terrible. To make matters worse, the kitchen staff came out multiple times to shake their heads at our table. We were a party of five, including three children under 10, and we felt intimidated by their actions. If I had been with a different group, the outcome may have been different. Do not waste your money here. The food is awful, the s...

We stopped for lunch here on Saturday. Fortunately, we sat immediately (Party of 2). The place is very small, so for those who have parties of 5 or more, it will be almost impossible to get a table especially on weekends. Originally everything went well, but when we ordered our food, the waiting period was incredibly long to get our appetizers and entrees. We also noticed that tables that sat after us received their orders when we did not even get our appetizers. My husband asked the waitress for an update for our food. We were not told what happened, but our appetizer and entrees came out shortly after. Our wings (appearants) were no longer warm and our deresses (sandwich and burgers) were...

"Excellent food and service, with a menu that changes based on the freshest ingredients available in season. The price point is high but it 's worth it. I 'm a Charlotte resident who drives up to the Sandhills to visit family, and this restaurant competes with any of the farm to table style restaurants in the big city. We went for the whole gambit of appetizers, entrees, and dessert. Portion sizes are generous, but not overwhelming. I would order anything that is based around what 's in season. Highlights in the appetizers were a peach and fig burrata, crab hush puppies, and the tuna tartar. Entree wise they have a wide variety of seafood and meat preps, but the highlights for us were the lamb wellington and halibut special, which honestly we could have shared between the four of us. Dessert wise we had a seasonal peach cake with ice cream, and a sticky toffee bun also with ice cream. Both were light and delicious to finish off the meal. Our service from Josh our server was excellent and efficient. Unprompted he immediately assisted getting my 90 year old grandma into her seat, and then went straight into getting our drinks and telling us the specials. All the food came out fresh and well timed, and Josh consistently checked on us without being overbearing. I would say for new comers that you could make an entire meal for the table just sharing appetizers and one or two entrees, and you all would leave happy."
