"I 'm grateful to have eaten in some amazing restaurants over the years...but I would include my evening at Sazon on a very, very short list of near perfect dining experiences. The service was impeccable, the presentation was precise I particularly enjoyed the tasting flight of mole sauces to start both as a way to inform your order but also to display the range of flavor, ingredient choice, and pairing possibilities from the chef 's signature sauce style. Most restaurants have a 'thing ' maybe it 's a starter or a dessert. Arguably, mole is that thing, but EVERY course starter, salad, main, dessert was incredible. We ordered the Xochimilco, which I learned is a corn fungus, and it was eye popping. Who would have thought? Chef Olea, apparently. I would return to Santa Fe just to dine at Sazon. I cannot recommend it more highly."

"This is a cute little restaurant. We ate out back in a very nice area. We ordered onion rings and an olive plate to begin. They were both very good. It was our dinner itself that we were disappointed in. My friend ordered the crab cake dinner. It was one medium sized cake rather than a number of small cakes. She was not at all happy with it. I ordered French onion soup which I enjoyed. I also ordered a pear/ walnut salad with raspberry vinaigrette. For $12, the salad was very small and it had a different salad dressing. When I asked our waiter, he said that's the size it is and said nothing about the dressing, even though I saw other salads c e out that were larger. We were very frustrated to pay the expensive prices when we were not happy with our food!"

"Im not one to leave bad reviews, but not sure all the rave reviews warrant this place. Overpriced IMO for service and quality of the food. My mom and I ate here on our trip to Santa Fe. I made reservations for 6:30 on a Saturday, but noticed a lot of availability when we arrived. Service was attentive when we first sat down, but slowly faded and ended up being not great. The food was ok, definitely have had better at less expensive places We had the Lamb “Special” and the Lobster Rissotto. Both plates were half covered in shredded parmesan which was odd. We did not receive the dessert we ordered, they brought something entirely different out, but to be fair it was good. Couple next to us never received their espresso. Waters went empty for 1/2 the meal, double charged for 2 bottles of Pellegrino, when only 1 small glass was poured (bottle not left at table). Just a poor experience overall, not sure if we went on an off night or what given all the rave reviews of this place. It was nice and comfortable inside and the had a large outdoor patio, but with the service, I would not recommend unfortunately."

"I recently visited Radish Rye for the first time in a few years, as I no longer live in Santa Fe and was back for a visit. The service provided by John Paul was excellent and each dish was carefully plated and paired. I enjoy sampling a variety of starters as my meal, and they were all incredibly delicious. However, I was a bit disappointed that the Fried Green Tomatoes had a different, more sour flavor than I remembered, and the corn chowder now featured a smoked bone marrow crouton instead of the bone marrow I was looking forward to. The Bison Tartare was a standout dish for me. The restaurant has a Southern influence, but I found the background country music with lyrics to be distracting; I would have preferred instrumental music that didn't compete with the ambiance. Overall, I felt well taken care of and enjoyed my meal at Radish Rye."

"I made reservations for my wife and I to celebrate our 24th anniversary and was very excited to take her because we are both huge foodies and had heard it was pretty good. When I made the reservation I specifically asked if they did anything special for anniversaries and was told they would provide a desert with happy anniversary written on it and I was happy with that. We arrived, placed our order and got 2 mixed drinks that were horrible, pure alcohol I might as well have ordered a shot. Then our waitress asked if we were ready to order and we both had questions about certain items on the menu none of which she could answer which was very disappointing and unprofessional , our food arrived and was definitely not what i was hoping for ,the flavors were bland and unexciting to the palate and thats being generous. As for our Anniversary dessert it never came and when we arrived I specifically reminded the hostess that it was our 24th anniversary. We will definitely not be returning to martins. If anyone is wanting a true dining experience I suggest Geronimos or the Compound restaurant . But if you enjoy subpar food and service then martins is for you."
