"Jaime was our server, and she was exceptional! This restaurant has an incredible variety of options, so you really can't make a bad choice. The banana split was the largest I've ever encountered—absolutely huge! I wish we had a place like this in Arizona. Antonio created a dessert that was not only delicious but also stood at least a foot tall! The entire atmosphere felt like a nostalgic nod to the 1960s, with generous portions and friendly smiles everywhere. The kids' sundae was also quite sizable. It was truly an authentic Chicago dessert experience! Great job, Jaime and Antonio!"

"Now you see it, then you don 't. I became acquainted with Top-Notch Beefburgers when they made an appearance on the Chicago 's Best television show. But that segment was all about Top-Notch 's restaurant in Oak Lawn. So what happened? Not long afterward, the Top-Notch in Oak Lawn closed because of dwindling sales. But the Top-Notch at 2116 West 95th Street in the Beverly neighborhood, between South Hoyne and South Hamilton, continues to produce a plethora of fresh and juicy and tasty sandwiches, including the quarter-pound beefburger with cheese, the quarter-pound turkey burger, the grilled chicken, the deluxe Mexican burger, the Italian sandwich with mozzarella cheese and marinara sauce and green pepper, the barbecue beef sandwich, the beef au jus, corned beef melt, grilled catfish, Reuben melt, grilled pork chops and home-made tuna sandwich. Wash it all down with a 24-ounce chocolate milk shake. Since the burgers attract most of the attention, the breakfast often is overlooked. That is a mistake. An egg with corned beef hash or a sausage links and egg sandwich or strawberry topped pancakes or two buttermilk pancakes with a large scrambled egg and sausage links is a great way to start a busy day. Nowadays, I prefer turkey to red meat. And Top-Notch 's turkey burger hits the spot with the house 's own seasoning, a slab of Mozzarella cheese, lettuce, tomato, mayo, pickle and a raw onion. Very moist and very healthy. Let 's hope the Beverly restaurant stays in business for as long as they can make turkey burgers."

"I use to love this place. We haven’t been in since Covid hit. Since there is a sense of normalcy in the world now we went in there this morning with high hopes of having a nice warm breakfast but lo and behold we walked into an atmosphere of fear and depression. What made this lace is great is gone.It was maybe 60 degrees in there. The owner looked miserable. It looked like they we’re using the place as a storage unit.We decided to go to Bacon and Jam.The plandemic is over, time to move on."

"I had a hibiscus mezcal margarita, vegan empanadas, and the vegan enchiladas. the margarita was good, the empanadas needed more taste, and the enchiladas were quite delicious. the chimhurri on the empanad and the filling itself was quite bland and the chimurri was dry. the salsa verde and mol on the top of the enchiladas was delicious, but the enchiladas themselves could have used more filling (can mushrooms or carrots). the other people in my party were quite satisfied with taking one who hated their dinner dish (they are all not-vegan). overall it was great to visit a new restaurant in Latin style. I live in the city and visited this place with my friends who live near. it is great to see more restaurants that open up. the personal was friendly and the vibe and decor itself is cute, but they need to work on their vegan options."

"I visited this restaurant for the first time yesterday with my two sons. They ordered regular nachos, while I tried the Italian beef nachos, and we also got a funnel cake with ice cream for my daughter. Everything was fresh and delicious. My kids loved it so much that they wanted to return today, which says a lot since nachos are available everywhere. It’s the unique flavor that really impressed us. We’ve found our new favorite spot!"
