"My husband and I stopped in for a late lunch. He had the fried clams and I had the haddock fish fry. We both enjoyed our meals, hot, fresh and hmm so good. Service was excellent. Even though I got the all you can eat, I couldn't even finish my first serving, which was 3 large portions of fish, fries and a very good Cole slaw. Next time we are in the area we will stop there for sure Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

American traditional Fresh seafood in large servings with many choices of side dishes. Small dining area perched high above and with full view of the majestic fast flowing Penobscot river. Loved the very personalized service too. Biggest lobster rolls I've ever seen!

Stopped in and picked a to go order. The cashier/waitress was nice, the cooks looked like they were enjoying their time while relatively busy. Prices were quite high, food was good, the onion rings were great! However, they have a wide variety on the menu, so if that’s not your thing, you can always opt for a scoop or two of their other desserts. But if you're looking for something truly indulgent, go for the parfait. It has everything you’d expect from chain ice cream parlors, but it’s richer, more flavorful, and much more filling. So, yes, I really enjoy Giffords."

"I’ve been dining at this restaurant for a couple of years, and I’ve never had a bad meal. The food is fresher than many other Chinese places I've tried in the area. The staff is consistently polite and willing to go the extra mile to ensure a great experience. I often recommend this place to my friends, and it remains my favorite Chinese restaurant in the Bangor-Brewer area."

"Easily the best restaurant in Bangor, especially now that Fiddleheads closed. The menu price of $65 is very reasonable for four courses. The atmosphere is great it's a classy dim basement, in a good way. The only issue is sometimes it's a little chilly in there. The drink menu is also fantastic, the cocktails are always very creative and taste incredible. Service: Dine in"

"I absolutely love this place and can't get enough of it. Every Friday, I indulge in their delicious pizza. For the past 5 years, I have been ordering a large cheese pizza and breadsticks from this place without fail. Although there are several locations, this one is my favorite. I have visited this restaurant countless times, always ordering the same thing, and I still can't get enough of it. Even if I can't afford it, I refuse to miss out on my Friday tradition. This restaurant is hands down my favorite and always will be. The food is incredibly delicious and I will never tire of it. It's not an obsession, just a deep love for something that brings me joy. "While visiting Bangor, Maine, everyone said we had to go to Mason’s Brewing Company! We were delighted to find this fantastic spot, right over the bridge in Brewer, Maine. Mason’s, offering a top-notch selection of craft beer and delicious food, all with a scenic view of the Penobscot River. The atmosphere is casual and lively, making it a great place to relax with friends or family. One of the standout appetizers is the giant pretzel, which is perfectly baked to a golden brown with a crisp exterior and a soft, chewy inside. I asked for all of the pairings! Pickles, cheese curds, pickled cabbage, a rich beer cheese sauce, and a tangy mustard dip, all complement the pretzel beautifully. It’s an ideal starter to share—or keep all to yourself! The pizza at Mason’s is also a must-try. Cooked in a brick oven, the crust comes out thin, crispy, and full of flavor. We opted for the classic cheese pizza, but I’m sure they don’t make a bad pie! The combination of the smoky crust and high-quality cheese makes every bite satisfying. I opted for a glass of cider, and my husband tasted local beers in a flight.
