"We had reservations for 3, Saturday night, the host wanted to seat us early, but we need to wait for the 3rd party. The restaurant was busy, I think they were short handed, but our waitress, Julie was great! She was working very hard to make sure her orders were correct placed in the computer correctly. Julie delivered our food hot correct. The food was very good plentiful. The 3 of us enjoyed our dinner. When in Tahoe at Harvey’s we will eat at El Jefe, again."

Very noisy and cavernous atmosphere. Dining room was closed so had to sit in the sports bar even though we had made reservations

It was late evening ,the table was dirty . My drink was sent back horrible! Two entrees where ok,third one was not good at all.. Would not recommend to anyone !

Tacos were tasty. Good variety. Margarita was tasty as well. Place was too loud (sports tv's). Overpriced, but we were in a casino so there's that. Would probably return. Service was very pleasant.

This place advertises as the Football experience it was nothing of the sort. Just a regular bar that couldn 't make the drink I requested (old fashion) to advertise itself as the place to be for football, I figured it would be more sports inspired. The food was just ok. I made a reservation for standard dining seating, but when we arrived, we were informed that they were only seating guests in the bar area. The waitress was very polite and professional, but unfortunately, the food was mediocre. To top it off, my premium cocktail was served in a plastic cup, which was definitely not worth it.

The drinks are all in the double digits, with one priced at $17.99. I really enjoyed my expensive margarita. The pork belly tacos were delicious, and the fish tacos were quite good as well. The churros were absolutely amazing. The venue features the largest television screens I've ever seen. It's a sports bar with a Mexican food twist, but I didn't mind it at all!

"Been coming here for years, but my last two visits (especially this most recent one) have been disappointing. They have a nice view, but there’s no way to reserve a view table as a solo dinner (even a small table) to get that view. But my main complaint this time, was the food. The Chicken Dumplings were tasty, but like my main course, had this unnecessary pickled vegetable that really tossed the dish out of balance. It was also served in this weird s-shaped dish with the sauce underneath the dumplings. Made it difficult to grip the dumplings and even more difficult to get any of the sauce. A dipping bowl would have been better. Fancy but totally impractical. But the real disappointment was the Halibut. It was unevenly cooked, going from well done to slight undercooked. Really poor, especially at this price. Then there were those pickled veggies again, but the real low point was a massive amount of overwhelming pesto. It absolutely smothered the fish and the ginger Thai sauce. (Which had it’s own issues, being overly salty and with a strong vinegar taste) It’s all you could taste. A beautiful piece of fish absolutely ruined. Two stars for the meal, plus one star because I have fond memories of this place. All in all, a really poor meal."

"Always great experiences here! This has easily become our favorite dining spot in town. Not only for the location and amazing food, but also the quality seasonal ingredients that leave me feeling full, happy and most importantly healthy. Great staff, views, drinks, wine list, outdoor ambiance, and chef. Couldn't ask for a better or more reasonably priced restaurant for everyone lucky enough to enjoy."

"I thought I had published an evaluation for this place, but I don't think haha. Anyway, I'm from the back to the east and a predominantly Italian city. I had no decent pizza outside of Pittsburgh. I lived in Virginia and Nevada, and every time we went somewhere, I felt like it was a waste of carbs. If I pamper pizza, it's better. This place is def worth all Carbs. Delicious pizza like what I used to go home. We had a picky 3 years old with us and a baby, so we just got a classic pepperoni pizza, but their menu is super imaginative and sounds delicious. Don't understand the low star reviews. If there were on the basis of food I would give 10 stars, but we also had super friendly people who served us there. Anyone who sounds like that? m everything about the support over large chains and this little jewel makes pizza better than any other places I have done in this way."

"Hubby and I stopped in for goodies and coffee on the drive back to the hotel. I had a hankering for an iced coffee with chocolate and was not at all disappointed. This was the best chocolate iced coffee E V E R !! The chocolate was not overpowering. I could actually taste both chocolate and coffee. It was so good that we went back two more times even though it was out of the way. The almond crescent cookie was also a big hit. I'd love to know the brand of coffee and chocolate that was used to make this the best iced coffee I've ever tasted. Unless it was the fresh mountain water?"

"(FYI: Dog friendly) only for lunch on the deck. Yesterday was our first visit to Jake?s, and there was no way I didn't have a glowing review of one of the best dinners I had in many moons. Hostess Olivia and Server Chrissy Trent were outstanding achievements. You can really tell the owner about the setting of the right people for every job because they all obviously have a lot of pride on the work they have done and give every customer the best possible experience. We ordered the braided short ribs divided the Dungeness crab cake as starter. Both were the kind of dishes you just send in the beautiful blue sky, swimming like a cloud with a huge smile on your face. (The braided short ribs were so delicate, you could eat them with only one fork. Culinary excellence! We will definitely come back. several times if possible!????? (Note about the photo with this review? The braided short rib section was so generous, we took half of it home to eat the next night. Heated slowly? Superb!"
