I would like to thank the workers and servers for the time and excellent service in every way, Danny and the 2 cooks of the evening on 6/23/24 are the best. They went on and beyond their jobs descriptions. Restaurants need to have more people like them.

Authentic Salvadoran cuisine. The desserts could use some improvement; the nuegados are overly oily and don't contain enough yucca, while the empanadas would benefit from being made with ripe plantains. The service is excellent, but the restaurant could use a bit more color—perhaps a hint of El Salvador's vibrant culture. Overall, it's a nice spot for genuine Salvadoran food.

It seems every place that serves papusas takes a while to make them, but it was much more reasonable amount of time here. The fact that they were amazingly delicious didn't hurt. There is plenty of other things on the menu that are likely great, but I wouldn't know since we came specifically to try the papusas and didn't order much else. Do not pass this place up! The food here is delicious! The pupusas are big and very filling. For the first time I tried a pupusa filled with bean, cheese and green chile and I fell in love. I couldn't get enough. This restaurant is a no frills hole in the wall. The staff is friendly and the food comes out relatively fast. The menu is very affordable. Beware: the pupusas are very addicting so be sure to get more than one.

The horchata is absolutely delicious, and I can imagine the aguas frescas are just as good. The service is fantastic—very friendly and polite. The Mojarra Frita was impressive; it had a wonderful presentation. I enjoy savoring my meal slowly while eating. The fish was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The Green Chili Papusa with Loroco was large, affordable, and came with plenty of curtido and fish. I added a generous amount of fish to the papusa—so tasty!

I recently visited a restaurant nearby and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. I've had Salvadoran food before, and while they all tend to be similar, this place had its own unique twist. I ordered two Revueltas filled with cheese, beans, and chicharrón (pork), and they were absolutely delicious, especially with the accompanying Slaw and sauce. There wasn't anything particularly spicy in their seasonings, which I appreciated. They serve a variety of well drinks, including Coke products, and you can also order Aguas (fruit drinks). The pupusas are made with a corn tortilla and are filled to perfection. Definitely stop by—you won’t regret it! Visualizza piatti
