"Keep in mind this review is for at the price point Good Pina Colada, though oddly I wasn't asked to show my ID (and I definitely should have been) Waitress was very friendly, and the shrimp mango salad was as expected (canned mango and beets, but worked well with the dressing it came with on the menu, otherwise canned beets would be awful for the price point) Shrimp was seasoned very well, and my mother's shrimp cocktail was excellent and a larger than expected serving for the low price. Would definitely recommend this place, as it is well known locally for good New Mexican Food for a good price, especially in this economy (2022 2023)"

"The food, drinks, and service were all excellent at this restaurant. Our table in the back had a view of the garden, although it was a bit too cold to dine outside. The only downside was the noise level, as there were no soft surfaces to dampen the sound. We were seated near a group of 6 or 7 people who were having a lively conversation with many laughs. They were nice, but we were relieved when they finished. Reina was a great value and we plan to return when we visit Frederic again."

"This visit was a far cry from our previous experience, where we enjoyed excellent service and delicious food. Unfortunately, my partner's ribeye steak was served cold, and despite their attempts to warm it up, it remained chilly. For a restaurant of this caliber, especially for one of the more expensive menu items, this was completely unacceptable. While the rest of the food was good, the service left much to be desired. Although the restaurant was busy, there were other servers attending to other tables. We appreciated that we weren't charged for the ribeye since it was ultimately sent back, but it would have been a better gesture to offer a complimentary item, like drinks or another dish. We addressed our concerns with the server rather than blaming the restaurant itself. We were also quite disappointed that the halibut had been removed from the menu, as that was a dish my partner and our friend were really looking forward to. Given this experience and the poor service, we will likely not return."

"I was heading to Santa Fe for the day and hungry. I stopped and grabbed a sandwich and tea. I ran through the drive through and the funniest sweetest gal served me. I wish I'd have gotten her name. She was middle aged and I think she was a Cowboys fan. All I know is I had a great time at your drive through. She's a keeper!!!!!"

"The Buffalo Thunder Hilton complex includes the sprawling hotel with a variety of restauants, pool, spa, golf course and casino. With the current highly policed pandemic protocols, this hotel is extremely efficient. Hand sanitizers everywhere. All employees masked. Greatly reduced services including several restaurants and bars closed, as well as the pool, spa and daily room cleaning. Common areas restricted to small groups. Pets are permitted in some rooms. It's an attractive hotel which shows signs of aging, and with many employees laid off the on going maintenace clearly suffered. But never dangerous. The rooms are spacious. Our KING room was on the second floor, which is ground level, opening out to the sprawling back area filled with aspen trees and well landscaped, but not well groomed: trashy. Room service was not available when we attended. The only food emporium open during our stay was in the casino. The dinner menu is typical sportsbar (there are big screens). It's mainly fish n' chips, wings, burgers, several salads and soups. The breakfast is open only on the weekends with a similarly utilitarian menu. The service is cheerful and expedient. Some of the cooking left a bit to be desire: the fish cooked in too hot gr ease resulting in a mish mash...back it went....out it came: no change. There was no alcohol being served (or allowed) in the casino area. A deli is also open in the casino with pre wrapped sandwiches, hot dogs, drinks...... The prices at both food concessions was very reasonable. The casino features lots of slots, a poker room, a horse/sports book, and very good instant cleaning on all surfaces. As casinos go it is a pleasant, well appointed floor. Weekends are very busy with both locals and overnight/weekend warriors. Price of the rooms go up on the weekend. However, accommodations are very reasonable. The parking in front is spacioius and ez in ez out and free. There is also a Homewoods Suites property nearby. Hilton's done a good job of making the best of a difficult situation."
