Tucked away in Erin Tennessee exists this absolute gem of a Mexican restaurant. The food is delicious, the beer is cold, and the drinks are strong, all at ridiculously low prices. One of two Mexican themed restaurants in the town. The menu is extremely extensive and some pairings are odd. The menus smelled of mildew. The wait staff weren't the friendliest or the swiftest, and they spent most of their time conversing with each other. The food was just mediocre. They add an additional 3% fee for card usage. Pricing is average; I paid roughly $50 for lunch for 2 adults, 1 child, 3 drinks and an appetizer. The seating is a little cramped in the booths as well.

El Paso Mexican Restaurant exceeded all my expectations! The food was absolutely delicious, with authentic flavors that transported me straight to Mexico. The service was top-notch, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was vibrant, making it the perfect spot for a family dinner or a night out with friends. I visited a friend for dinner at a restaurant that I've been to several times before, and it never disappoints! The food and atmosphere are always top-notch. The staff provides one of the best dining experiences I've had—they're friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home. So, whenever someone asks me where the best place to eat in this area is, I can't help but smile and say El Paso. This usually raises some eyebrows and confused looks, and I laugh as I clarify that I'm talking about the El Paso Mexican Restaurant in Erin, Tennessee!

My wife and I have our future retirement property near Erin, Tennessee and every time we go there we make it a point of having dinner there. The food is excellent, the service is well above average, and the atmosphere is great with live music most evenings. If you want a treat try my favorite dish there which the El Trio Especial, a mixture of beef strips, chicken, and shrimp on a bed of rice and nacho chips with onions, green peppers, and tomatoes covered lightly with their homemade queso sauce. The food is amazing. I don't see why people get upset over the service and setting. They all work as a whole to make sure you have what you need. The waiting staff get your drinks and then someone else brings the chips to help out. They always give us 10 to 15 to decide on what we want to eat. If it doesn't take that long, we call them over. The place is great and generally is packed all the time. So from time to time they make take a little longer to get a refill to the table, but it's because they are all working hard to make your meal a good one.
