I come for the Caldo the Res! Can never go wrong. The portion is huge, the price is right, the atmosphere is amazing. This time I came with my papi chulo and he had pork chop ranchero. Today's special. It was a very big portion, and that was also priced Right and it had my favorite, refried beans. Large selection of menu items. They are usually very busy, and sometimes you have to wait. It is well worth the wait, and the service is pretty quick. I understand on weekends they have strolling musicians.

First Time Coming Here I loved it! I never really finish my plates but this place made me finish it all for once.. the food was simply delicious n tasty. Cheese was out of this world and it was just the perfect plate I haven't tasted in so long. Definitely recommend eating here as it'll be worth it. I know that I will definitely be coming back as that is a fact of life.. Yeah! Service was great fast.. atmosphere was a bit tight but perfect. Now this is real Mexican Food! This place literally made it feel like I was back at mum's for the first time ever in so long. 5 Stars all the Way!!!

One of the best breakfast spots in the San Benito/ Harlingen area. The amount of plates that are outstanding are way too many to count. My wife and I always order breakfast on the phone to pick up and they always deliver with flavor and quantity. You won't go hungry that's for sure. Parking here is limited on weekends and you will probably fight for a spot. Sometimes I just park in the empty lot next door. The speed of this place all depends on the sections you sit. Some waitresses are quicker than others. Bathrooms could use work but for a restaurant, you can't really complain.
