"Covid update. They are open for inside and outdoor dining. Masks are required until you?re seated. Employees all had masks on. I had the shrimp wrap special one Friday, and it was absolutely delicious. It had a very nice chipotle flavor. My husband, as always, got the Cuban, which he loves. I also, as always, got a bowl of the Brunswick stew with cornbread. My only regret is that I?m not again eating this meal right now. No changes to the parking, but there?s a big grocery store parking lot right next door. Still highly recommend. Have been here a few times. Very cute and intimate place for breakfast and lunch. I?ve had the over easy eggs, the Cuban sandwich, and the Brunswick stew. One of my favorite places in Athens to get Brunswick stew, actually. There is not a lot of seating, not very much parking, and it gets pretty packed at lunchtime, so I would advise against going during peak hours."

Late breakfast at 10:00. The food was delicious and the service was wonderful. Omelette and Grieß were cooked exactly. 10/10 would recommend

Love the food! Great chicken salad pimento cheese! Little quiches are the best! Stocked up Saturday right before closing for impending Irma coming our way! U have to try Em's for sure!

Very cozy lil place. Love the choice of indoor and outdoor dining. Fried green tomato BLT was delicious! Brunswick stew was good/ok. Only downfall was the cornbread had no flavor, yet the texture bake was beautifully done. The staff were so sweet and are an example of southern hospitality!! Highly recommend will return to try the breakfast.

Great place for lunch. Enjoyed a chicken salad sandwich. Staff was very quick in preparing orders for customers. Clean dining area. I noticed that they do offer catering services as well. Em 's Kitchen is connected to the family owned drugstore which is a nice convenience for families picking up prescriptions-they can pick up a quick lunch to go as well. Will eat there again when in Athens.
