"The King by default? I stopped in and ordered the Tuna Poke bowl. The woman putting together the bowl had a lot of questions, but no real answers when I asked clarification questions as I have never been here before. There menu is very distracting, with lots of choices to be made, and not a lot of information on those choices. Most of the reviews seem to be for the rolled ice cream they serve. I stopped in around 7pm and some of the tuna in my bowl tasted past it 's prime... Do you tip 20% for having your food made? Wouldn 't go back for Poke, if I did I 'd order online..."

"We are here from out of town trying different places to eat and enjoy… decided to get some dessert for our last night here and went to this Ice cream shop. It was really really good. Service was nice. Only thing is it could use a face lift and re done a little nicer. But overall was great"

"My family and I dined at this restaurant for the first time last night to celebrate our anniversary with our children. We had made a reservation and requested a table by the window with a view, which was absolutely stunning. It took a little longer for us to get to our table as my husband is currently on crutches, but the staff were very accommodating and helpful. Our waitress was amazing - she was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was delicious, although the filet mignon was cooked a bit more than we would have preferred. Next time, we will request for it to not be cut open. The sirloin was excellent and the lobster was heavenly. The dessert was a highlight, as our waitress kindly provided us with sharing spoons so we could taste all three options we ordered. While the restaurant may be on the pricey side, it is definitely worth it for a special occasion."

"while this restaurant also served omnivores, there was a separate vegetarian menu clear that the vegan options were. we ate there with a mixed group, and before our dishes were served we were made with vegan brot, only for us, with oil/ginegar dip available. our waitress was completely noticeable what it means to be vegan, and even stressed the one vegan dessert article, a vegan chocolate ice cream that really tasted like mousse. updated by the previous review on 2021-09-14"

"When trying a new Sushi place I often order Nigiri Sushi or Sashimi so I can gauge how good their fish is, absent of all the sauces and other competing flavors. This allows me to check texture, flavor, freshness, and overall quality. If this litmus test pans out then I come back.Umi passed my test. The fish was of acceptable to good quality though not exceptional. My tuna roll was sloppy on the ends and had julienned cucumbers as opposed to avocado. Service was good.This place was very busy. The atmosphere was very casual with outside dining.Parking is a premium and you may need to park and walk.Price. My basic tuna roll and 8 pieces of Nigeria Sushi was 74 dollars so it is not the cheapest place in town. If budget is not a concern, you like a lively atmosphere and some decent food then try this place out."
