We enjoyed a lovely Valentine's brunch at Essy's. It's a really classy, oldschool place and a lot of fun. The food was excellent and service outstanding. The classic carriage house design and ambience is great. We can definitely recommend it

We came here with a group of after my step father said that he wanted steak. We were the only people in the restaurant and I'm mind blown as to why! This food was so good. Each person there ordered a different entree, so I was able to eat them all. From the crab cake to the filet everything was cooked well, and with love. I'd go back

Went to Essy's for Christmas lunch. Only one other table occupied when we arrived and one more came in while we were there. Service was excellent very friendly and attentive which made for an enjoyable meal. The Xmas menu was somewhat limited would have been nice to have some options for side dishes but overall the food was very good. Excellent value and the owner and staff obviously care very much for their customers which you can't put a price on. I would absolutely recommend Essy's Visualizza piatti

We dined at Essy’s on Thanksgiving and had no idea what to expect. We were the only customers for their seating! The service was wonderful, friendly, personal and couldn’t have been better. We had a traditional Thanksgiving meal of turkey with mashed potatoes, green beans, dressing, sweet potatoes and gravy. The lettuce for the salad was some of the nicest I have seen in a while and I would love to be able to find lettuce that good in grocery stores. We finished with pie for dessert, which was delicious. We very much enjoyed our dinner and definitely plan on returning soon

Went here for New Years Eve. Expected to be able to choose from their regular menu, but only a menu with less choices was available. While I understand creating a special menu to celebrate the holiday, the choices were less than desirable compared to the original menu i wanted choose from. The high cost price of being forced to order from the special menu didn't help. My dining experience wasn't horrible, but could have been much better. My advice would be for the restaurant to create their special menu for patrons to choose from, but still allow their original menu as an option as well

A gem of a restaurant located in Cherrydale Arlington. We've been coming here for years and always enjoy it. For Christmas lunch, Essy served up a perfect duck l'orange and a delicious lobster bisque. My husband had requested a special bottle of wine, which Essy went out and got for the occasion. This is a top notch restaurant, consistently great. Their Veal Piccata and Beef Stroganoff are my alltime favorites. The menu changes, so good to call ahead to check whether it is on the menu. The restaurant has the feel of a private dining room, with white tablecloths and classical music playing softly. Very comfortable and relaxing, yet classy. Highly recommend it Visualizza piatti
