I can't say enough how much I love this place! I've never had a meal I didn't enjoy. One of my favorite local spots for good food at a good price. Portions are generous you won't be leaving hungry.

The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the atmosphere. While the service is quick and efficient, I wouldn't describe it as particularly friendly. Picture a place where the matter-of-fact attitude meets a laid-back vibe, and you have the Firkin Tavern. Wonderful happy hour and quite lively. Had the BEST Southwestern Nachos in fact I'll go so far as to say they were the BEST nachos I have ever had:0! Drinks were fun. For dinner, my sister and I had two salads (Southwestern and Buffalo Chicken). Wonderful. Played darts and air hockey. The pool tables were taken but we would have played, and probably pretty badly...ahahaha. Wonderful time all around.

I want to express my gratitude to Bryan and the entire staff for welcoming everyone during the US World Championships on Saturday. We arrived at 9:45, and the service was exceptional. The atmosphere was perfect for watching a World Cup game. Every guest received a complimentary koozie, and their breakfast specialties were outstanding. Overall, this place is fantastic, and the staff is truly unmatched. Firkin is the best in Mercer County!

Wonderful Irish pub! They have an fantastic selection of beers, friendly staff, and AMAZING food. I ordered a burger topped with Swiss cheese, mushrooms, and crispy onion straws. It was perfectly cooked, juicy, and absolutely delicious. The burger came with large, crispy fries that were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. I was with two friends; one had the Ultimate Bacon Burger, piled high with bacon, while the other tried the Bang Bang Shrimp. Both said their meals were fantastic. I definitely plan to go back! The Firkin Tavern is a great place to take a family for dinner or to go with your friends. The dining area is quite large and completely separated from the bar area. Food is always excellent, just recently their Oktoberfest specialties and the German poutins were one of the best things I had eaten in a long time. Fast and friendly service. The bar has a large square bar and many TVs for the day of the game! You have a very large tap list with over 30 excellent beers available. In the back room there are pool tables, darts, shuffleboard, air hockey, giant jenga and more! To do a lot with friends or a date! Recommend Firkin Taverne for Bar Goers and Casual Diners Alike!

So disgusted with Firkin Tavern of Ewing! I ordered some Kimchi fries last night but I was too sleepy to eat. I decided to bring them to work for my lunch today. I opened my fries and poured them onto a plate to heat them up and was EXTREMELY grossed out bythe Extra ingredients in my meal! Not only did I find hair at the bottom of my container but I always found hair melted into myfries! I was extremely upset. This is not okay and a waste of my $14 plus tax. I don?t think I will be back to Firkinunfortunately. Staff was nice but clearly they can use some extra cleaning skills in the kitchen area : I assume someonewasn?t wearing a hair net of some sort when preparing my food. I can only imagi...
