"On my way from San Diego to Vancouver, BC, where we have numerous amazing breweries(Brewers Row, Port Moody)Found Flood Valley. Went to order drinks and food. Was greeted with I 'm short staffed, I 'm training greenhorns in the kitchen so I 'm not in a good mood. Got my drink at the bar. Waited 40 mins for Mozzarella sticks, never arrived, so I left. I understand that alot of businesses are struggling post covid, and I did not voice my disappointment with the service, but I won 't go back.Looks like it could be a fun place, otherwise."

I enjoyed my food and Root beer, my wife enjoyed her ciders. The hours have changed along with the menu, but they seem to be doing the best they can to keep the doors open in this economy. So I applaud him in doing his best with the supplies and working to keep his business going.

Flood Valley has one of the coolest vibes, you feel like you are home when you walk thru the doors its not just a bar, matter in fact i think you would say it is a pub to be correct, the food is out of this world, beer selection is excellant, the staff well they take that extra time to make sure you feel welcome and like i said before like you are home. Food was standard pub grub...good but nothing to rave about. The best was the beer selection. Saw a really good new local band (Unleashed) but the venue was not the best for this. But this place is now another victim of the idiotic Covid-19 shutdowns, supply chain disruptions and worker shortages (not a very big workforce in these parts). Too bad...a lot of upside potential for this place.

This is an update to a review I wrote over two years ago. I recently enjoyed a couple of craft beers, including some excellent Krolsch, along with an order of their amazing bacon-wrapped jalapeño poppers. As I reminisced about the great food and beer I've experienced here throughout the years, I realized just how much I appreciate this establishment. The owners truly care, and their pride in their work is evident. I highly recommend this place—without a doubt, it's the best tap house in Lewis County!
