The Metzger offers a fantastic variety of steaks to choose from. The flat iron steak in particular is outstanding, better than anything I've had before. The atmosphere is lively and the staff are friendly and attentive.

I've been to the German Butcher twice since I moved down here. I was to their previous location (D.A. Barsch) in Toms River years ago. My favorite style of hot dog is the German style pork/beef or pork/beef/veal mix. Especially if it's made at a butcher/pork store. I had an incredible first experience at this restaurant! I placed my order over the phone (had two separate orders to place since I forgot something) and the person on the other end was so friendly and accommodating. When I arrived, I was unsure of what to do and asked for help from a passerby, who kindly assisted me while I had my one-year-old son with me. He was so compassionate and understanding of my situation. The staff at the checkout were also very friendly and patient with me since I didn't have a number for my order. Overall, it was an amazing experience and I will definitely be returning!

Can I just say your Restaurant is amazing! Even through out the pandemic you have no sacrificed consistency nor your passion in fine cuisine. One of my Favorite items is your Rueben. yet today I tried the pork loin sandwich and it was incredible, moist, flavorful, the roll perfectly toasted, with the spread being the perfect accompaniment. I do not live in remotely near your restaurant. Yet I do work in this southern region, and if not for doordash I would not have the most wonderful lunch experience.
