What a charming spot we discovered for breakfast. The food was delicious and the service was right on point.

Terrific place for sandwiches and coffee. Great atmosphere and excellent staff. Highly recommend. Historic location in St. Charles.

This is a very nice concept and the food is great. My only gripe is with the service. Our server Alaina didn't introduce herself, and once she brought our food, we had to send other servers to ask her to come to our table. She spent more time speaking with an older gentleman at the counter. I assume he was a manager or owner maybe. I will try again. Visualizza piatti

During our recent visit to St. Charles, we emate lunch at the frontier perk cafe.. The cafe is cute but seating is very limited, hardly three four tables. Be prepared to wait during lunch hour. We ordered the three egg omelet, vegetarian sandwich and shrimp poboy. The serving staff was helpful and food was good. We enjoyed eating there and would visit again.

We were looking for a quick lunch for our family while on a road trip and we're glad we stumbled across this cafe. It was less than 10 minutes off the highway and the food and service was fantastic. They brought out the food quickly and we loved everything we ordered. Both the mahi mahi tacos with a side salad and the grilled shrimp poke bowl exceeded our expectations and we're really reasonably priced. Highly recommend for anyone needing light and tasty fair when road tripping past St. Louis!

It’s a small little place, but it feels cozy and we didn’t have to wait for a table. Service was great and we both enjoyed our coffees. I ordered a Salted Caramel Latte which was great perfectly salty and not too sweet. I ordered the Bomb Burrito which was packed full of flavor. Every bite had something different. I loved the mix of short ribs and chorizo, which isn’t something you find most places. The drizzle of hot sauce and crema on top was perfect. Would definitely order again. I question the cleanliness too. We watched a hosted bring clean glasses and silverware to the table and place them down on the dirty table. The glasses were stacked and placed upside down on the dirty table (the part you drink from!!! . They then sprayed the table, with the spray getting all over the glasses and cutlery so gross and not good optics! Cute place, but tables are on top of each other. They are so close that some guests can't fit between and while a guest was trying to get out from behind the table, they knocked our drinks over. Why do these have to be so close? No privacy and you can fully hear the conversation next to you.

This is a very cute little cafe. Good variety of food selections, breakfast and lunch along with pastries. Pretty extensive drink options. Maybe a little overpriced on the food. I ordered the Avocado toast and added on bacon for an additional $2.50. I received my two pieces of toast and bacon bits on the top. Now, I do think this was in house cooked bacon not just cheap from a bag. But I feel like a couple whole pieces of bacon is what should have came out. Everything tasted great, and I saw lots of other customers enjoying good looking dishes. I will definitely come back. The atmosphere is perfect and the staff all seem nice and helpful.

This Cafe was on the east side of Main in a very small space. It's now on the west end near the OPO with 4 or 5 booths and about the same amount of tables. Exposed brick walls and high ceilings make for beautiful decor, but difficulty hearing. We were excited to stop by and try the food. I ordered the quiche of the day. It was offered as mediterranean and served with a wonderful house dressing on field greens. Very silky texture with a flaky crust made it delicious. I'm not certain I could have called out any Mediterranean flavors, but they were both wonderful. We also tried the mahi mahi tacos with house chips.
