"As someone visiting on a business trip from Columbus, Ohio, I always make sure to stop by this sushi restaurant. The chef, Fuji, is truly exceptional and the quality of the food here surpasses that of the restaurants I usually visit in Columbus. The sushi is incredibly fresh and bursting with flavor!"

"Undoubtedly the Best, that says it all. From quality, quantity and flavor of the cuisine to the genuine friendliness of the owner and staff. The Best of Crete is my all time favorite Charleston restaurant. I love the variety and value of the menu. They even offer a daily special which makes all the better. First time diner? I 'd recommend the 'Taste of Crete ', an amazing sampler, which includes a slice of absolutely decadent Baklava. Tuesday through Friday 11a 6p. Dine in, pick up or delivery via DoorDash or GrubHub."

"disappointed. Went through the drive thru today at 1:59pm. Order was taken by Jalisha. Felt very rushed trying to order, staff was not very helpful, spoke maybe a few words at window. I said “ thank you have a good day”, nothing was said back to me- window was shut. Order was wrong. Chips that came with the gyro were hard and stale. There was PAPER in the lettuce on the gyro. Ordered a club sandwich with no onion- onion was all over it. Alfredo noodles were hard barely any sauce, rubbery chicken. Unfortunately will not return. Had very high hopes for this restaurant. Disappointing is an understatement. Worst $38 spent. Owner was not available when I called to report the paper being in the gyro. Very frustrating experience."

"I ordered two extra-large pizzas, and unfortunately, both were undercooked and floppy, lacking proper baking. When I called the restaurant to express my concerns, the owner argued with me, insisting he had made them himself and that they were fine. Frustrated, I drove back to the restaurant with proof, only to find my complaints dismissed. I managed to get a refund for one pizza, but not both, since my kids had already eaten too many slices of the pepperoni pizza while waiting for dinner. I tried to speak with the owner about the situation, but was denied the opportunity at the store. I then went to my car and called, hoping to reach him, but I was hung up on multiple times. That was my experience; I hope others have a better one."

The food was exceptional, earning a solid 5 out of 5 for its quality and flavor. The highlight of the meal was the hummus, which I highly recommend. The service was attentive and friendly, receiving a strong 4 out of 5. While the atmosphere was inviting and enjoyable, also deserving of a 4 out of 5, it could be a bit more lively. Overall, it was a delightful lunch experience!"

"The dining room was hot, humid, and very uncomfortable. At 1:15 PM, the entrees were still reasonably fresh, but not hot. The General Tso's chicken was cooked in old grease, not rancid tasting, but left the crispy batter tasting burnt. The rice noodlesin the chow mei fun were turning hard again. The egg rolls were chewy, and pulled apart like taffy; the filling was decent, butmostly cabbage. The hot and sour soup had a red tinge that is not typical, plus it had whole white mushroom stems floating init. In the end, one plate of food and a half a bowl of soup was all I wanted to eat, so not a a good value. Make sure to checkthe price before you go; the website still says it's $8.99 for the lunch buffet; however, the actual price is $10.49. You shouldgo to the Chinese buffet in Kanawha City; it has much better food."
