"we were very satisfied with our choice to dinner in the Peruvian restaurant of gabby. it was a perfect stop after the Mother's Day in botanica. it doesn't look like much from the outside, but we were from the excellent eating, friendly and attentive staff, and the beautiful decor whatever. that was our first taste to eat in Peruvian and we loved it. fresh aromen and new food to try. the marinated bark hearts were cooked to perfection and had a wonderful marinade, along with the boiled kartoffels. the hearty bark stew of my manne was very tasteful with a beautiful Zilantro sauce, bud and sweet. I had the black chicharron and enjoyed the seasonal and fried yucca. my only criticism is, it was a little dry and could have used the Zilantro sauce for diving. the desserts looked fantastic and I'll leave next time for the tres leches cake. we will definitely come back."

I'm always surprised at how many really good, unique restaurants Wichita has. You just don't expect to find good Peruvian restaurants in a town the size of Wichita. Really good food, very fairly priced.

we did not know that this was a restaurant that you could go into, it was only for catering. but due to some happier circumstances we have to enjoy this food. it was wonderful. very authentic and tasty. the decoration is not much to see, but I stare at my food anyway! Visualizza piatti

During our visit to Wichita we were looking for places to dine in. The reviews of this restaurant were very high (4.8) so we decided to give it a try. On positive note, the staff is friendly and the place is clean. However, the food is overpriced and tastes ok, but nothing is extremely good.

Still love Gabbys! Had an early Moms Day dinner, awesome as usual! Lomo Saltado for hubby, ceviche for me, fresh and wonderful. Tried the calamari appetizer for the first time, very good as well. Highly recommend Gabbys for a great meal at a decent price, attentive friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere.

The food was ok, I had the arroz Chaufa (chicken) and ordered a side of sweet plantains (good). The atmosphere inside the restaurant is pleasant. The location of the restaurant in Wichita, KS looked a little sketchy and I wouldn't go at nighttime, specially alone! I was in town for business and decided to look for some Peruvian food. I would definitely give it another try next time I'm in town. Visualizza piatti

we were thrilled to find a Peruvian restaurant in wichita. Gabby’s has a handful of American food for children and adults with less adventurous taste. my daughter had the Peruvian version of the bark stew. she is gf and df and was happy to find something she could eat. I had the cow-suction sandwich on a Ziabatta roller. my son had the fried pork sandwich and chips. I can't remember the official names of the courts, but all were delicious. this restaurant is worth tasting fresh, authentic Peruvian and South American cuisine.

First impressions are key to a successful restaurant and Gabby's Peruvian has done an amazing job at it! We were greeted by kind staff the second we stepped through the door, seated in a nice area of the restaurant and given prompt attention by our server. He was a very kind young man that told us every step of our dining experience. The food was just delicious. My plantains and seafood ceviche was on point! I tried an Inca Kola which is a golden drink of lemon verbena and cream soda. A must try to get the full experience. My husband had the Lomo Saltado and the beef was sooo tender! I took pictures, but you can see what's already been posted by other diners. Please take the time to try out...

"As a Gluten free couple and myself being only a fish eater (no meat) there are very few quality restaurants my husband and I find that we can truly enjoy in the city of Wichita. Most places do have one or two choices for those with my dietary requirements, but often they seem like an afterthought. The Belmont is now added to our short list of regular places we plan to dine. We met Tory, the owner who sat us to our cozy booth, and immediately began to offer creative GF takes on several of their dishes. I was offered a decontructed bruchetta where the fillings were served on a lettuce plate and in place of some of the meat component was offered a side of nice smoked salmon for protein. I added the olive snack and was delighted with the red and green selection. My husband had the burger (hold the bun) and loved his meal. We splurged on sharing a dish of homemade vanilla ice cream for dessert. It was fresh and tasty! My only suggestion would be to keep some rice or GF flour on hand in the kitchen to possibly offer some of the breaded or fried dishes as GF options. (Yes even with a shared fryer, there are many such as my husband and I who are not celiac who have found shared fryers make no difference) Fully 30% of the public considers themselves GF. It is so easy to get a box of quality GF pasta or sub out some GF or Rice flour to dredge for frying. I find Rice flour to make for a crisper dredge anyway! I truly wish more Wichita restaurants would attempt to provide more varied dishes for us GF restaurant goers. Wouldn't you like 30% of your client base to be thrilled to head your way for good GF dish options? Just offering starchy GF sandwich buns (not what the Belmont does) is not a creative answer."

"Larcher's Market was a last-minute choice, but I ended up having an amazing breakfast there. I originally planned to have lunch, but I was getting too hungry to wait an hour. I went for the B.E.C. Sammie, which included bacon, scrambled eggs, Havarti cheese, Larcher’s sauce, and arugula, all sandwiched between two slices of rosemary garlic focaccia. The focaccia stood out as some of the freshest, best bread I’ve ever tasted—it truly made the sandwich. The arugula was dressed in a red wine vinaigrette, showing the extra care Larcher's puts into their dishes. The eggs were incredibly fluffy, and the bacon was cooked almost perfectly. Saying I enjoyed this sandwich is an understatement. Seriously, that bread was unforgettable. As for the atmosphere, I’d give it 30 stars if I could. I’m slowly becoming obsessed with this place. Larcher's Market has a friendly staff and a space that feels both modern and cozy. For a late breakfast, I tried the Crispy Chicken Biscuit, and once again, Larcher's nailed it. The biscuit was clearly baked fresh that morning—light and buttery. The chicken was hand-breaded, juicy, and had the perfect crunch. The sunny-side-up egg was cooked just right, and the pico de gallo was fresh. The cheese was simple—a slice of American, from what I could tell. My only critique is that the sausage gravy could’ve used a bit more seasoning and perhaps a touch more butter. Other than that, the Crispy Chicken Biscuit was outstanding. I love Larcher’s so much that I brought my friend Brooke for her first visit. She ordered the Turkey Club (not pictured), and I had the Breakfast Sammie. Her sandwich looked great, but I can only speak about mine, which had pork sausage, hash browns, over-hard eggs, a brioche bun, American cheese, and jalapeño jam. The sausage had a unique flavor, and the sweet-spicy jalapeño jam really elevated the sandwich. The brioche bun was freshly baked, soft, and fluffy—something I haven’t had in a while. The hash browns were crispy and the perfect finishing touch. After trying their food, I’m convinced Larcher's Market serves some of the best breakfast in Wichita. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"
