Good food. Reasonably priced. I'll be back. Hope they can stay around fit a while and build a customer base because it's a little too quiet...

Decent food. Sort of rude server. Seemed like she didn't want to be there. Hostess needs to wash her hands also after touching her nose. People can get sick especially when she is touching the menus.

I have the opportunity to eat here frequently because I work right next door. I appreciate the consistently excellent service and the cleanliness of the restaurant. The prices are reasonable, and the portion sizes are generous. Visualizza piatti

Decent breakfast food. No gluten free pancakes or bread. If your meal comes with a side, you’ll have to decline as there are no gluten free options confirmed potato pancakes have flour). Kinda feels like you’re throwing money away when they won’t offer fruit as a substitute $1.00 surcharge I think).

Great breakfast! Big menu and reasonable pricing. You can order a large breakfast for less than $10. The place is clean and staff is attentive. I didn't go more than a minute of having a near-empty coffee cup before I was offered a refill. There seems to be a few too many tables in the back section. But I guess people would rather be around a lot of diners than do a lot of waiting!

Wow! What a cafe! The food was absolutely fantastic! I tried the Triple Chocolate Chip pancakes once, and another time I had the Churro French Toast. However, the Churro French Toast was quite high in sugar. I’m not sure of the exact amount, but when it’s fried in cinnamon sugar and topped with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream, it definitely can’t be low in sugar. The food from here and the Vernon Hills location is like night and day! We prefer the Vernon Hills food, although there's often a longer wait time due to its small size. I was just there during the week, and it seemed like they had either done a crew cleanup or were possibly understaffed, which really impacted customer service and the speed of food delivery. I would recommend this place primarily for takeout now—it’s definitely the better option!

This is the 3rd restaurant I can remember at this location. All three had great food but I never returned to any of them. Why? Noise level is much too high. You can barely talk to each other. I thought that the new owner this time might have initiated some acoustic treatment but it was exactly the same as before. Aside from that, I really liked the blueberry pancakes I ordered and others at my table also enjoyed their food, too. Service was fine and our waiter was very attentive but we all agreed it was tough talking with each other. If you’re not bothered by high noise levels, you will most likely enjoy the good food.

I've seen this location open and close a lot of times while walking over to the grocery store. There was another cafe that opened and closed here before this restaurant opened up. I never knew how roomy the place is! There is a lot of seating for both booth and the usual. Straight black coffee isn't free, but water is. For the price and portions to our meal, I'm impressed. I think it would actually be better if the prices were around $12-13, but they're pretty cheap for what's available. Service was definitely friendly and on point today.
