"I met a friend for lunch at this restaurant yesterday, and none of us had ever eaten here before. It turned out to be a fantastic choice because there are so many gluten-free options on the menu. Every dish we ordered was delicious! The pico de gallo and guacamole that came with the plantain chips were fresh, homemade, and full of flavor. The blue cheese twist on the classic Caesar salad was exceptional. Our Arepa sandwiches were grilled to perfection. Our server was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. The bill came out to under $40, which was a pleasant surprise. I only regret not saving room for dessert. I will definitely be back for the hot chocolate!"

beautiful experience with excellent and authentic Venezuelan styles. (the only thing missing in the menu was tequeños! very friendly and generous staff, and I could actually conduct an intellectual conversation because it was not too loud.

If there is fast food you are looking for, I can suggest McDonalds! If delicious, well designed, Venetian food is what you desire, Garrido’s Bistro is the place to be! We enjoyed our lunch here every time, and appreciate not to be rushed! A great place to enjoy a meal with your friends! The Mermaid arepas was excellent!

The restaurant is cozy and intimate really cute. The service was amazing; our waitress explained everything and answered all our questions and was attentive. If you drink I recommend getting an old fashioned it was superb; One of the best I’ve ever had. As for the food the presentation was very appealing, but it lacked flavor. Such a unique and quaint place. If you enjoy authentic South American cuisine this is the place for you. The recommendations from the staff were all winners. We will definitely be back. Try the specialty Venezuelan rum drinks if you get the chance. We were too full to try dessert or a boozy milkshake but table nearby did and it looked so delicious and also worthy of a special trip for just dessert. I had been excited to try this place and I’m glad we did.

We went to Garrido's last night for the first time and will happily add it to our favorites list! The service was very friendly and the dishes we ordered were all excellent. We had the plaintain appetizer, the paella, the lomo saltado (Peruvian steak strips over rice), plus really yummy drinks the mango smoothie, the pachita (raw passion fruit juice) and the papelon (brown sugar limeade). I kind of kicked myself for not ordering an arepa or a dessert (which was what caught my eye on Yelp in the first place) but it gives us an excuse to go back. We'll be taking friends so we can sample more dishes next time.
