"Fantastic experience here, friendly staff, and great food. I'd visit anytime. Really enjoyed my chili relleno and my wife's carnitas tacos. I think I would order the chili relleno without extra cheese on top, and with the red sauce next time so that it wouldn't overpower the tasty pepper. Kid-friendliness: They seem to love kids and weren't put off by my five stir-crazy children being more unruly than usual due to long driving hours. Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp entry."

Called to place an order and voice mail gave me another number to call or text to place my order. The number didn’t work for calls so I text but they never responded. There’s no way to place an order so I’m going elsewhere.

"Upon arrival we were directed to sit at a dirty table. I asked the waitress to clean it. She slopped a wet rag over it, leaving it soaking wet. We asked for a towel to dry it to no avail. My beef taco was made with ground beef, not shredded. Ok, I can live with that. But the only thing it had on it was lettuce and one piece of diced tomato. No cheese, no crema sauce, just ground beef and lettuce. Companion’s tamale was ok, gratefully it was not all masa. The chile reinos was really delicious, so that perked us up a bit. I had a mango margarita which tasted like saltwater. Exchanged it for watermelon, only slightly better. Tasted like they use the cheapest tequila around. Companion asked for a Dos Equis amber, but they only had original. When we were done,, waitress was nowhere to be found. We had to go to the cashier and describe what we had eaten. All in all, I had expected a delightful meal but was sorely disappointed. "I asked for Nacho Supreme. I asked if it came with lettuce tomatoes guacamole sour cream and jalapeños, I was told yes. I just got meat cheese and beans over chips. How is that a nacho supreme? This is why I stop eating here but I wanted to give it a shot again. Nope. Never again. Disappointed"

"This restaurant in Gallup is fantastic. We always make sure to visit when we are in Gallup from San Diego. The food is fresh and the service is excellent. We were initially worried when we saw their old location on Route 66 was closed, but we were thrilled to discover their new location just across the street from our hotel. The food is delicious! We can't wait to come back in a few months."

"However, since we had our dogs with us and the temperatures were in the low 90s, we opted for takeout. Upon entering, I was immediately greeted by friendly staff. After placing our to-go order, we took a seat at the counter. They even offered us water while we waited. The place was bustling with families coming and going, and the staff was efficiently handling it all—what a well-run operation! When the food arrived, we headed to a rest stop down the road that provided some shade. Once we dug in, it was pure bliss. The fry bread was fresh and fluffy, and the burger was seasoned and cooked to perfection. Thankfully, we had the salsas on the side; the red was flavorful with a mild kick, while the green was explosively spicy (as we had been warned). Gordo's clearly caters to the local crowd, but if you're looking for outstanding food served with a warm smile, make sure to add it to your list."

"true 5-star experience: not only the staff was timely and attentive, they were friendly. portion sizes are perfect (very well filled). we started with the free brot and the sweet fluffy butter. mozzarella sticks, bacon burger with bleu cheese and mild green chiles, burger (no cheese with mild chiles, French fries, sweet potatoes, seasonal veggie mix. the meals came with suppe or salat, so we both have! salat was full of healthy choices (cal, fresh salad, brussel spruten, tomatoen, gurke. . tried a green chile filet mignon soup--wowza yum! burger were perfectly cooked (the Bleu cheese was super! , fryed were hot and tasty and of course a light but dense chocolate cake to fill it. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who passes. there is also a banquet room. many thanks to jr, desiree and the other employees."
