"I've used Open Table for years, my boyfriend and I regularly dine out at least once a week. While on vacation in Hawaii, we made a reservation at this restaurant. I can not emphasis enough how awful every part of the experience was. From the upstairs smelling musky, to the waiter barely speaking to us, and rushing us off. The food, I shutter even thinking about it. We got the appetizer sampler, the beef was ok, I'll give them that as well as the slightly burned chicken spring rolls, but the shrimp tasted like super market shrimp. Our main course was even worse, he had the tuna, for and couldn't even eat it. The taste of wasabi over powered the entire dish. I had the raviolis, and shrimp, which the plate was dominated by all the greenery. Finally I tried to salvage the meal with ordering a dessert, the hot chocolate cake which they are famous for. The waiter dropped it off at the table mumbling an apology because it collapsed on the way. Save your money. Same your time. Go somewhere else"

"We ordered the tacos (3 to an order for approx. $18.00). The tortillas were not doubled and where difficult to eat because the filling saturated the taco and the tortillas kept falling apart. So I asked for extra tortillas so I could double them myself. They brought dried out, hard tortillas. I asked for fresh ones so they brought 3 small tortillas on a small saucer. They charged $9.00 for these plus $6.00 for the 2 dried out ones brought earlier. That's $15.00 for 5 small corn tortillas with nothing on them. It's just small tortillas straight out of the bag. I thought this had to be wrong so I asked the waiter and he brought the manager. The manager said it's because everything is going up in price. And people will order the tacos and ask for more taco shells so they can put some of the filling into the empty taco shells thereby essentially getting more tacos. So what? If I want less filling in my tacos and just want extra tortillas, why should I be penalized? I can see charging for a side order of tortillas but NOT $9.00 for 3 plain tortillas. No other restaurant I know of charges that! And come on! You can buy an entire bag of corn tortillas at any grocery store for about $4.00 and you'll get about a dozen or more! We would have been better off buying another order of the tacos. $15.00 for 5 plain tortillas versus $17.00 for 3 complete tacos! So disappointed in this restaurant. Definitely does not leave you with a good feeling."

"This was just a quick pit stop before closing time. And it showed. The attention to detail lacked somewhat. Whilst I got seated fast and had a chance to chat to other patrons I also had to wait for my order to be taken. I've read much about the crabBenedict and the other patrons also recommended that menu item. I wanted to test the enthusiasm. There was a short wait for thefood and I was little disappointed. The poached eggs were overcooked and the hollandaise sauce was in short supply. I am unsurewhether this was due to the time of my arrival, maybe the chef wanted to go home, and they had to clean the kitchen, but to methis just demonstrated a lack of attention to detail. The servers offered to bring me more eggs but I declined the offer. Thetaste was ok but due to the limited amount of hollandaise sauce and the hard yolk the Benedict was dry. I was hungry and ate it,paid and left with a scone to boot. I presume the scone was a peace offering as I haven't seen anyone else with a parting gift."
