"First off, having lived in both Orlando and Jacksonville, I have had Sweet by Holly (winner of cupcake wars) many times...and I will say these are as good, if not even better. I personally think any bad reviews come from bad taste; As these are exceptional! The cake itself has a perfect balance moistness and density...this is not your moms cupcakes! The frosting...oh my! REAL butter cream! Not the fake butter cream you find on supermarket cakes. The right amount of sweetness with the buttery saltiness...perfection!! I picked up a half dozen today, as we tried a Ocala's cupcake shop last week. ...and there was no comparsion! This will be our only place for cupcakes now!"

Our friend ordered a wedding cake and cupcakes for my bride and I. It was all rainbow colors and had a white chocolate Mrs. and Mrs. on top. The cake was beautiful and perfect. I really enjoy their variety of gluten-free cupcakes, though I've definitely expressed that I believe gluten-free red velvet should be included in their options. The staff is consistently outstanding and very helpful. A special shoutout to Emily for being fantastic and for ensuring my forgotten phone was safe in all the excitement!

Stuck in the hospital for 2 weeks here in Gainesville FL. Found Gigi's Cupcakes via a Facebook add and My daughter bought me a couple cupcakes to cheer me up. Chocolate chip cookie dough was incredible! Tasted like cookie dough! Really can't wait to try the coconut one hopefully they will have some made today as I'm sending her back for another moist cupcake treat! Two thumbs way up!

"I came across this place while searching for hidden gems in GNV. Overall, I must say I did enjoy my dining experience. I visited multiple times before forming an opinion and leaving a review. These are strictly my personal thoughts and preferences.. The good: Customer service was surperb very clean and well kept menu options (chicken focused) simple THE SEASONAL LEMONADE (best strawberry lemonade that I've ever had) the overall ambiance/aesthetic.. very welcoming and inviting. The not so good: I liked every sandwhich that I tried but I can't say that I loved any of them. The more I ate the less I liked each one. The ranch fries were good in concept but too many flavors at one time for me with the chicken sandwich being the star I think salted fries would compliment the sandwiches perfectly. The bad: Overall I felt that everything was a tad bit overpriced I do understand offering higher quality ingridents will cause prices to be higher. $14 for 8 wings and no dipping sauce is a bit much. $4 for a small lemonade that is mostly ice is a bit much (although it was GOOD). Sandwich meals should include drinks. I know it's easier said than done, but affordability is a big determinate for repeat customers. Still a great spot to try if you are in the area. Keep killing it Germain's."

"My fiancée and I had dinner on Saturday night to celebrate. From the moment we arrived the service was outstanding! Our steak choices were cooked to perfection, the accompanying sides were perfect and let us not forget the lobster escargot. Our meal was finished with the best Cree brûlée either of us agreed we ever had! No more Embers for us. The ambiance and spacious rooms at Marks makes one feel at Embers as if you are in a closet and dying to come out. Perfect evening. Thank you Marks."

"What can I say? I absolutely love this place. We visit almost every Sunday night for dinner and coffee, and it never lets us down. While we come for the delicious food, the service keeps us coming back as well. Our waiter, Mario, is always friendly, attentive, and knows how to make us laugh. "My friend and I were starving after walking around Depot Park and we were craving pizza. Luckily, Big Lou's was just a 5 minute drive! We choose to order the Big Lou's House Special Pizza which had an olive oil base topped with fresh tomato slices, imported prosciutto, ricotta, garlic and oregano. After we ordered we realized that we could've made our own pizza, oops. We probably waited about 10-15 minutes for the pizza and we devoured the pizza in minutes, haha. The house pizza was okay. There wasn't much prosciutto or fresh tomato slices on the pizza. I think if we've known that we could've made our own pizza, my friend and I would have enjoyed it more. But we honestly should've order a larger pizza or sides along with the house pizza but due to time, we had to leave. Looks like I'm going to have to give Big Lou's another visit!"

"The food arrived swiftly. My pulled chicken quesadilla was overflowing with shredded chicken and cheese, while my friend's seafood quesadilla was loaded with shrimp, scallops, fish, peppers, onions, and tomatoes. It was so generous that my companion could only finish half of it. The quesadillas are quite large and come with a hearty side of sour cream. Our waitress was exceptional. After we finished our meal, she provided us with a bag for our leftover chips and an extra container of salsa to take home, all at no extra charge. I have dined at this restaurant many times, and I’ve always found the food to be fantastic, along with attentive and friendly service."
