"I have been coming to Pegahs for nearly 20 years. When we dine in, everything is perfect, from food to service and cleanliness. However, when we order to go, it’s a different story. We are always missing something or something is wrong with the order. It had gotten to the point a couple years ago we decided to stop ordering to go. Today, we decided to order togo, and unfortunately, we were failed again. I paid an extra $2 for gravy on my hash browns. I get home and there’s no gravy. I called the store and spoke to Miguel, who I relayed my previous experiences and decision to order to go again today. He validated I was charged $2 for the gravy I didn’t receive. I told him I am not coming back just for a side of gravy, but this is a refill occurrence and whomever is putting together the to-go meals needs to take batter care of making sure orders are accurate and complete. Miguel said he would look into it and that was the end of the conversation. I hope to experience better to go orders in the future, should I decide to risk it. I don’t like paying extra for items and do not receive them."

"For our meal, we ordered the arancini as an appetizer, along with the Caesar salad and Castle Burger as our main courses. The wait for our food was excessively long, which is something every parent dreads when dining with a baby. Even after we asked the staff to expedite our order due to our little one, it took over an hour for the food to arrive. As a result, we had to pack our meals to go, which meant we couldn't enjoy a proper celebratory lunch. As for the food, the Castle Burger featured candied bacon, which added some nice flavor, but overall it was just average. The arancini were tasty but small in portion, and the Caesar salad was lacking in quantity, with the chicken appearing undercooked and tasting almost raw. On a positive note, the wine we tried was exceptional, and I would return just for that. However, the prices are on the higher side, and customer service definitely has room for improvement."

"I give them 5 stars for their food. The beef is fresh never frozen, and all the toppings are fresh as well. The only fault with this place is the lack of inside seating . Now I know from a conversation I had one time with the then owner, that the city would not allow them to build any inside seating. Seems to me the city would want this business to flourish, and instead they are hampering them. My son and I both just about froze to death for a burger. A great burger, but had to get out of the wind to thaw out. It was worth it."

"We really enjoy ordering our pizzas from this restaurant because the service is quick and they offer a wide variety of unique pizzas that aren't available at other places. We can conveniently call in our order and pay only when we pick it up. They also have a gluten-free crust option. The restaurant is always clean and the staff is friendly."

"Love the old vibe of this place! And the pizza truly was amazing. I don't like thin crust but I found this pizza crispy yet filling. Delish! That said, service was a struggle. The server appeared to be alone, so this could have simply been a staffing issue on the first trip I've ever had here. Seems that there was someone who showed up halfway through our meal who started helping out. But the service was weird. The single server made a tour of the entire restaurant and took everyone's orders, which made total sense since he was alone. But then he walked right by us twice without stopping. I finally stopped him and asked if we could order and he said he would be right back. Which he was. But it was odd that he walked right by us twice without even acknowledging us while being sure to help everyone else. Aside from that, this place really does seem worth the price. Pizza is costly. The complaints from other patrons in their reviews are valid regarding cost. But this is one of those times when you're getting what you pay for. If you want cheap pizza, then you will certainly be able to get an affordable one at a chain. If you want good, unique pizza then you will pay for it here but you will get what you pay for. There are also really good specials on weeknights. We stopped here before a movie so we lucked out on the $10 medium one topping pizzas. I really wanted to try a specialty, but the cost was prohibitive. Having tried the one topping, I will feel less hesitant about spending the money on a specialty in the future."
