Great Moon Buffet - Piatti

A buffet which has a wide variety of Chinese food, salad bar and dessert. It also has a Mongolian style BBQ section. Food is good. Ample seating area. A family friendly place.

Very clean, but awful food. Most entrees are either tasteless or have a hint of seafood taste which is not a good combination for non-seafood entrees. Expensive mistake on my end.

They've done pretty good recently. Just gotta wear gloves everytime you are serving yourself some food. From my experience during my visit a Monday afternoon, they keep most food stocked up when running low instead of when it's entirely out. Visualizza piatti

This restaurant never disappoints. Large selection of choices that are always hot fresh. The buffet area is kept clean sanitary. Employees test food periodically for temperatures assuring health department guidelines are being followed. Would like to see the per person cost a little lower but it's not out of line with today's did costs.

Went with a friend, food was fine but after a server refilled my drink there was a chunk of raw chicken in the cup. Had to wave someone down three seperate times to get my cup replaced. Servers were near the table speaking in Spanish about putting something in my drink, when they finally replaced the cup server spilled it over my food and lap.

COVID ALERT! A certain teenager was observed purposely sneezing on the foods and utensils close to the ice cream machine! He found it very funny, hence, he sneezed on the foods again and this time laughing about it with his brother. Well the servers were reluctant to secure and sanitize the area even after people had informed the servers of what had just occurred. The buffet management is yet to address the issue. A really good food options and a good positive atmosphere my only problem is they pile the food to high in each pan which prevents the top from keeping a good hot temp and the (top of the food) pressure of the food at the bottom is getting over cooked that was on the weekend and was busy (still food wasn't really getting short cause of the pile up). Hopefully it's different on the weekdays and it's a good level of food to keep everything hot. Will see when I go again sometime this week.

I went with my mom and dad and we aren’t picky at all. The food was dry and some were a bit seasoned weird. Our main issue was that we came in at 8:30 and they close at 10. I understand sweeping or organizing utensils but they where spraying windex near the food, cleaning out the ice cream machine, flipping tables upside down, bringing a ladder out to clean lights? Before it even hit 9pm. Along with waiters having headphones in on their phones while working which I don’t think is okay for a waiter. The whole time I felt pressured to leave even though it closes at 10pm . .

Chinese buffets are basically the MacDonalds of Asian food. I love buffets because I can try many things and overeat, but it is possible to be dissapointed. Great Moon looked nice, great art, clean looking, very well staffed (overstaffed it seemed). The food looked good. The reality is, there was not much flavour. It was filling, and well stocked, but nothing made me feel like getting seconds. The salad bar is possibly the best point, some very tasty fruit salads there. For seeming overstaffed, it amazes me how many employees walked by me and did not notice my empty glass.
