This place is amazing! Service is great, food is over the top- dishes are well prepared and so delicious! Worth of every penny! Staff is so nice and polite and very knowledgeable about their menu! Definitely, must eat here!!

Elevated NOLA cuisine. Everything, including our server was on point. The Gumbo was the star of the show and everyone at our table ordered something different and were left highly impressed. Drinks were also light and refreshing.

This restaurant is quite impressive. It's not the cheapest option, but it's also not the most expensive. The New Orleans Creole food is excellent. The menu is straightforward yet offers a good variety. I tried a couple of appetizers: the oyster BLT and a bowl of gumbo, and I finished with the bread pudding. Everything was delicious. Absolutely incredible! Lovely views and ambiance on the balcony. The staff was caring and the food delectable. I have been here twice. For dinner, our table had the braised lamb, the swordfish special, and the redfish. The meats were all so tender and sides paired excellently. For brunch, our table had the Oyster Salad, Shrimp Grits, and Gumbo. 100% recommend Gris Gris, and will be coming back for sure

Gris-Gris is everything you'd want in your NOLA dining experience. The atmosphere is casually elegant. The food is decadent. The drinks are reasonably priced, and everyone having one around me was more than enjoying them. The gumbo is a really good dish. It's dark brown roux is a near perfect base for for each ingredient. The bar staff was beyond friendly, and I'd happily return again to try more dishes.

Best meal in NOLA! We absolutely loved this place! We stopped there for brunch without reservation and they seated us outside. The place is beautiful! Everything we ordered was delicious with fresh and seasonal ingredients. The service was fast and the staff was really nice. We didn't have a reservation but arrived early enough for dinner to sit at the chef's counter, where we could watch the kitchen in action. I ordered the double-cut pork chop, which was incredibly satisfying with a perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors. I only wish I had more room to try other dishes since everything coming out of the kitchen looked amazing! The service was excellent as well, despite the bustling crowd of customers.

Each year, my family prepares oyster stew for Christmas, and without fail, it ends up being unpleasant. However, I'm always willing to give something I've disliked another chance at a nice restaurant, and Gris did not disappoint. The oyster pie/stew was surprisingly delicious. The jambalaya was also very good, but I already have a great recipe for that. The drinks were unique but on the milder side. The beer was more affordable than at some of the budget-friendly restaurants. We didn't try the main dishes, but what we observed being served around us looked fantastic.

Absolutely loved this place. Probably my favorite brunch in NoLa. Lovely service, great location, and amazing food. Make reservations in advance to get on their 2nd floor balcony which is just fantastic when the weather is nice. Inside on the second floor is airy and bright too, and the first floor patio is always in the shade (if you get hot easily). For apps, the fried chicken gizzard with grits and brown gravy were packed with flavor and buttery and decadent and a perfect mix of textures. My husband normally doesn 't eat weird foods, and he loved it, too. For a main, that pot roast in brown gravy with mashed potatoes can 't be beat. Best pot roast I 've had anywhere in the world.
