"We had made a reservation for 8:30, but when we arrived at 8:45, we were told that we needed to quickly order our food because the kitchen was closing. We were confused as to why they would accept a reservation so close to closing time. When we asked for drinks, they were served in Styrofoam cups. After requesting different glasses, we were initially told they had run out. However, when we expressed our disappointment by stating we weren't at a fast food restaurant like McDonald's, they miraculously found some other glasses. The manager, who was very nice, decided not to charge us for the drinks in the end."

We've been Gyu Kaku regulars for several years. Our last few dinings have shown a marked improvement in table side service. The food is great, as always.

We enjoy this restaurant and its food. Food servers are all nice and quick, but our favorite is Michael. He has served us a couple of times for larger parties and he just over delivers everytime. Food is always delicious.

Very good food. Staff was very friends and helpful about any questions we had about our food, as it was only our second time there. Pricing can seem high, but for the amount of food you get and the experience, it is well worth it. Can't wait til our next visit!

The air conditioner was not working on 2 sides of the restaurant which made it uncomfortable for eating in an environment where you are preparing your food in front of a flame. The food is always delicious here and I hate to say it but the service, which is not the norm, was subpar. We kept getting looked over, drinks were not refilled and we had to get someone’s attention for help with our grill more than a couple times.
