"Dany Bolduc is a justly famous chef. All sixteen of us were awed by the cuisine. Certainly the impeccable style of his staff and decor added immensely to the event. Dany keeps changing the menu, except the octopus which has remained for a year, because it has become his signature piece. Wonderful, not a challenging taste at all, two fat tandoori tentacles, tender, crunchy and very tasty. Since their wine pairings are a specialty, I asked for one; it was an orange julep. No, the sommelier said, you will not want one on its own; but with the octopus it works. Indeed it did. And the octopus was accompanied by an inspired caramelised yogurt accented with red onion, cashews, and coconut, brilliant. Others in our party had the veal or the polenta, and were equally pleased; so were the couple who had the special vegan menu. The first courses (appetizers) were also perfect. But I must admit the special double chocolate +almond +cherry was, for me, as irresistible as the octopus. The Saint-Henry district is so lucky to have this spot. Definitely worth the trip to Montreal."

Tried this place out again for brunch because our usual place was closed for holiday vacation still.

One of the best gastronomic place in Montreal. The brunch is great as well, especially in summer with terrace.

Absolutely superb! Chef Dany Bolduc is a genius. The food, presentation, atmosphere and service are beyond compare. From French Laundry in Napa, to Toqué in Montreal, this could well be the finest restaurant in North America.

The brunch is totally different with what we had before (sausage, crepe, fruit, bacon). Every brunch here is unique. The first impression at what you ordered is more like an art work. Although you have to pay more than others (5 person for $200), it deserves for the price. A delighted experience!!! Visualizza piatti

Our first evening in Montreal, I had made reservations based on the reviews and we were not dissappointed! If you've never had octopus, this is the best place to order it, it was wonderful as was my husbands halibut. We spent 2 1/2 hours enjoying the food, the environment and the wine. It was a delightful evening.

This is the 3rd time we have eaten here and it is better then I remember. The service was excellent. The staff are extremely excited and informed about the food and the wine. We felt taken care of not just served. The menu is creative without being too weird, and I love that they source the ingredients locally. They had many options and were more than accommodating for food restrictions. And the food... just wow. I don't really know what else to say, it exceeded any expectations. The restaurant feels comfortable and welcoming, the staff attentive and friendly and the food is exceptional - I can't wait to go again!

"This evening I opted for Toqué’s seven-course tasting menu, and while the service was nothing short of exceptional, the experience unfortunately fell flat where it mattered most—the food. I wanted to love Toqué so badly, and I was excited to see if the restaurant lived up to its reputation. To be clear, It’s not that the ingredients were bad. They were fine—perfectly average, even. But we came expecting culinary fireworks, and instead, it was more of a damp sparkler moment. The dishes were neither memorable nor particularly flavorful, leaving little to linger on the palate or in our minds. For a tasting menu at this price point, we anticipated an experience that would excite and surprise, but instead found ourselves with courses that were forgettable and uninspired. Not a single course left me wow’d and despite the modest portion sizes, many of the plates left our table largely untouched. The flavors just didn’t inspire the kind of enthusiasm that draws you back for that next bite, and ultimately, it spoke volumes about the disconnect between expectation and execution. Montreal is overflowing with incredible food, and I’ve long believed it can hold its own against some of the best food cities around the world. With that in mind, I couldn’t help but feel a little deflated. There are so many gems in this city that bring creativity, heart, and an actual punch of flavor—Toqué just didn’t do Montreal any justice tonight."
