My husband's birthday was celebrated at Hale Pele and we had an amazing experience. The service was excellent, the flaming drinks were incredible, and we loved the atmosphere. We will definitely be visiting Hale Pele again!

Not pictured is the delicious Kalua pork and it was the first time I ever tried food here and it was great. I will 100% be coming back. Just be warned it can be a bit of a wait. I showed up at 6 and waited over an hour to get a seat but we did order drinks while we waited. Visualizza piatti

On a chilly day in Portland, sometimes all you need is a taste of the tropics. Hale Pele provides a cozy and inviting atmosphere that engages all the senses. The drinks menu is tantalizing, without being overly sweet thanks to the flavorful housemade syrups. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our large group, making it a perfect Tiki experience.

I’ve lived in Hawaii for two years and there’s never a place that is as good as this place in Portland. I mean this place looks more Hawaii than Hawaii looks like Hawaii itself lol. I’m not even joking. They have really really good drinks, while in Hawaii have an ok drinks but more expensive. The variety of drinks here are just so great. My friends love coming here and I’ll definitely go back again.

we hung out for several hours and ordered many dishes and many drinks and i was absolutely SHOCKED to find that at the end of all of this, we only paid $50 a person?! and everytime someone orders a drink with fire a special song plays and everyone can dance. the music here is the VIBE — 60’s ethiopian jazz for much of it. service: great. drinks: great. vibe: great. this is one of the best places ever Visualizza piatti

Came here for late night drinks and shared the volcano bowl with some friends. We got a few small plates as well like the Hawaiian sweet bread, edamame, and kalua pork.I used to live in Hawaii and honestly liked the kalua pork here better than what I had on the island.Very vibes place, great lighting and seating. Only downside is the amount of table space. I don’t know how people have whole meals here, the table was way too small for us and we had 4 drinks and 3 appetizers (table for 6 people but we had 4 there). We had to move everything for the volcano bowl so we felt rushed to eat so we could get it. The server came with it and waited for us to clear the table so she had a place to put it...
