"There were 3 of us. We started by sharing a beer salad, calamari and corneal dusted oysters. Delicious!!! I was content with that and so the other two people decided to have the catch of the day but asked to change what it was served with. No problem. Split the plate, no problem. Had the chocolate coconut pie for dessert-YUM!!! A great meal and great service."

"Our great server Tia is the ONLY reason this review is not a 1 star. She was attentive and did everything correctly to address the issues we had with our meal. Appetizers Crispy Brussels We could not eat half of them because they were burned/charred past edible. Calamari It lacked flavor and could have been cooked/fried more. Entrees Bianca Pizza The sliced potatoes were an odd topping (and sliced too thick) and the pizza was okay, but nothing special. Chicken Piccata Horrible. The chicken cutlets were too thin and were overcooked. We sent it back and the second portion was only slightly better. The meal was also drenched in butter, which is not proper for a piccata. Dessert Chocolate on the Rocks It was nice but disappointing. The chocolate moose was missing a flavor element. Definitely cannot recommend based on our experience."

"I wish I could give this 10 stars! We are100 percent BBQ snobs. This place has officially dethroned our favorite in Florida and that is saying a lot! Collard greens are my love language and these will make you want to slap yo momma and grandma! What??!! The BBQ sauce, hush puppies, and more are all on point. Yes it’s busy and yes you will have to wait but get over it you’re on southern time. They move you through quickly and oh so southern friendly. Honestly, I won’t be mad if we eat here everyday until we go back to Florida. We have found heaven on earth! Let me be clear my husband eats carnivore and I eat vegetarian so you know it’s good when a vegetarian writes a review of 10 outta 10!"

"My husband and I went here for an impromptu date night. While I was looking at the menu another customer was telling me how great the food was and to get the flounder. It was alittle busy and they told me the wait would be 20mins but we got a table in 5minutes. Crab Crusted Oysters: 8/10 I felt like the crab took away the oyster taste Caesar Salad: 10/10 How can you go wrong with a classic salad?! You can't! Whole Blackened Flounder w/Bacon Wrapped Green Beans: 1000/10 This plate was soooo good and fresh."

"Very nice. Due to the cost I will be critical, but don't misunderstand; I enjoyed myself very much. The service was prompt. I did not understand the clearing of the plates and forks, then the bringing of the next course before the replacement utensils were brought. This happened between every course. The coffee was okay, it was some kind of pod like coffee maker. A few grounds escaped into the cup, and it had a foam on top. I wasn't looking for a cappuccino. We had escargot, the soup of the day, the veal from the menu, the halibut fish of the day, and the creme brulee. Most of the food was warmish. I did not complain because most of it had really good flavor and was edible for sure. I was not impressed with the escargot and the roquefort cheese sauce. Could not make out any rookford flavor. White wine garlic and butter I think would have been my preference. The asparagus and potatoes were on point, but like I said, just warm. The creme brulee was wonderful, but I've never understood serving an edible garnish That you must remove the inedible part before you eat it. Especially when you're talking about the green on a strawberry and the dessert is not served with a knife so you were left picking at it with your fingers and trying to remove it with a spoon. But, with the strawberry it lent a wonderful slight fruity taste in just a hint of sour to an otherwise fantastic dessert. Don't misunderstand, I will go back again and fully intend on enjoying myself. I will recommend this place to others, but when you pay $150 for two people to eat, including tip, you expect perfection."
