"We asked a local gallery owner for a lunch recommendation and he suggested the Hangar. It is in a blue building down by the waterfront over looking where float planes come in. Portions looked large so we split the First mate which had 4 oz portions of both grilled salmon and halibut with berry sauce, broccoli with hollandaise and sticky rice. The fish was seasoned and grilled to melt in your mouth perfection. Rice and broccoli were wonderful as well. The best fish we had in all of Alaska. I highly recommend."

Very clean environment best spot to eat and sit looking out at the wharf. Very friendly and helpful staff. The food is amazing, big portions for the prices.

! I think it 's kinda ridiculous, if you get the Alaska Solstice Vodka Lemonade they charge you $10 for HALF the can. If you want the full can that is only 8% ALC they charge you $20 for a FULL can! Wish I knew this before I ordered it. Visualizza piatti

Great place to fill yourself with great local food before going back on our cruise ?.The menu is very extensive and so many great choices to choose from. We were seated right away as we entered. The waitress was very friendly and had great suggestions for food. Everything was delicious.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant with excellent service and delicious food. I dined in for dinner, and the price was between $20 and $30 per person. The food deserves a solid 4 out of 5, as does the service and atmosphere. I highly recommend trying the salad, burger, jambalaya, chowder, onion rings, and halibut fish and chips!

My husband and I really like the Hanger Restaurant and visit each time when we’re in Juneau this was our 11th time Great location gives you the ability of seeing the sea planes landing and taking off on excursions The halibut is a 5 My husband’s chicken barbecue sandwich a 3 since it was dry so go for the fish The Hanger can be quite busy when the cruise ships are in town Visualizza piatti

The waitress was not good. She was busy so I get it but she was just snippy from the start. For example What do you want? Just not pleasant. It 's probably like everywhere hard to get help. The food was just ok... I had fish and chips-and the bar was actually nice inside. We had high hopes when we entered but the help was the biggest draw back. We went to San Bar in town and they had the best fish and chips.

WoW so glad on our stop over from cruise we found Hanger on the wharf!! Fresh Alaskan King crab. Super delicious, fresh and sweet!! Cod chips amazing also BUT if your like myself and Love a good chowder?? The COD chowder was to die for!! We are talking one of the best. Full of cod and thick yummy chowder with perfect seasoning served in a nice sour dough bowl. 9 day cruise and the Hanger was the BEST meal we had.
