"A few words are needed to help organize a fairly brief review, on the basis that when I last tried to eat at the location, it was under other management, as the short-lived Texican Tex-Mex restaurant, pre-COVID-19: From my sketchy memory, I recall that it was a very spacious patio area with connecting dining rooms, a relaxing space for intimate dining and special dates, a mere minutes walk from the downtown Denton square. I recently enjoyed a fantastic dinner at this restaurant. The price per person was $100+. The food, service, and atmosphere all scored a perfect 5 out of 5. I highly recommend trying the White Truffle Pomme Frites – they were delicious!

I took my colleagues from work to Hanna's and we are all foodies for the most part. We were pleasantly surprised, the food was outstanding, the service was outstanding and we enjoyed it tremendously. We were disappointed with our experience at this restaurant. The grits and shrimp appetizer was served cold and lacked flavor. My daughter ordered tuna but received a small, thin white fish instead, which was not worth the high price tag of $38. The lamb dish was delicious, but the portion size was very small, served over three tiny pancakes. Despite the excellent service and pleasing ambiance, we felt that the food was overpriced for the portion sizes.

I went to this restaurant for the first time two weeks ago, as it came highly recommended. I tried their special of steak ribs and mashed potatoes. The steak ribs were juicy and the mashed potatoes had a creamy texture, although I wasn't a fan of the slight sour taste, likely due to the French influence. The server was attentive, and I enjoyed the ambiance. I especially appreciated that the restaurant had its own parking. I would definitely return for a fancy dinner.
