"I’m from NJ, so hibachi here is a bit different—for example, they don’t serve soup with the hibachi meal, and the lo mein noodles were white. I really liked the decor. After being seated, it took a few minutes before anyone brought menus or took our orders. I tried the red dragon roll, which was just okay. I also ordered shrimp lo mein with added veggies. The shrimp was good, but some at my table weren’t fans of the chicken or steak. The chicken was a bit rubbery, and the steak was cooked very well done—they did request it that way, so no complaints there. I had a pomegranate martini, which was tasty. For dessert, we had the fried banana. Tony, the hibachi chef, was hilarious! Our server and host were also nice and friendly—everyone was fun and personable. I appreciated all the special deals on the menu. The only downside was the bathroom, which smelled unpleasant."

Called for a quick pickup order and the man on the phone helped make recomendations and even a few paces on my order. Sushi was fresh and good! Inside had a really cool atmosphere. Will definitely go back!

I came to Hibachi with a 5:30 reservation. It?s currently 6:43 and no one has come to even acknowledge us after the nice server brought us the salad and drinks. I?ll update you once I eat. Update: They got the order wrong. Chef walked away. Visualizza piatti

To make matters worse, when we were settling the bill, they accused us of sharing sushi, which we hadn't done. I explained that we had asked to keep our table open for the next guests but still had leftover food. The whole situation felt like terrible service and poor customer care.

I visited Hibachi Of Downingtown with friends on a weekend evening and experienced minimal wait time. The chef was highly entertaining, great at engaging the crowd, and had a fantastic sense of humor. He playfully tossed shrimp into guests’ mouths and used broccoli for the vegetarian options. The food was delicious, especially with the sauces, and the chef’s lively performance made the entire experience truly enjoyable.

It's was so bad,food was good but the service was horrible. We sat at sushi table, I ordered food and my daughter ordered sushi bar. She is 9 yeold. She just had 2 sushi left in her plate, because she ask for no cucumber but the make with cucumber, so shedidn't like it, she ask if she can get more of the other, they told her No because she didn't finish her plate. And after thatthe bought are check,she charged us more because she told us we shared sushi which we did not, after I told her we didn't shestorm to are table open are left over food counter, to check if we tack any thing home.it was poor service and customer service. I went to Hibachi Of Downingtown with my family—six of us for dinner. Two of us ordered from the sushi bar, and the rest ordered other food. The woman working at the sushi bar was very rude. She was watching every bite we took and charged us extra, claiming we were sharing sushi. When we told her that we were, she took it upon herself to open our food without permission and then walked away. It was completely wrong for her to touch our food, and her attitude was mean and disrespectful. They even took my nine-year-old child’s order because she didn’t finish four pieces of her sushi. I dined here with my family, which included six of us. Two of us ordered from the sushi bar while the others chose different meals. Unfortunately, the woman at the sushi bar was quite unfriendly. She seemed to be watching our every bite and even tried to charge us extra, claiming we were sharing the sushi. After we explained the situation, she still felt entitled to come over and poke around in our food without our permission. It was completely inappropriate for her to touch our plates, and her behavior was very off-putting. "Unfortunately, this restaurant deserves 1 star. We love the food, but the management is horrible. EVERY time we have ordered, there has been an issue. The first time, we went to pick it up for a party and were told they accidentally gave it away to someone else. We had to wait around 15 minutes and were given a free garlic knot coupon as compensation. We weren't too upset that time because they were nice. However, the next time we ordered the same thing happened. We went, and our order was nowhere to be found. The next time we ordered, they got our order wrong. We ordered garlic knots and got a meat pizza slice instead. The last time we ordered, we ordered an hour and a half ahead for a party of 20 people. We ordered 4 pizzas. When they got there, we were told they accidentally burned one pizza. We asked for the other 3 in the mean time since we had 20 people waiting. They told us no, which lead us to believe that the pizza was not burned but instead was either never made or given out to the wrong person again. We were then told that they would make it and deliver it for free, since we are literally walking distance away. Somehow this took 45 minutes. I was on the phone with the manager and all they could offer me was we don't know what happened and we'll take good care of you next time A mistake once is one thing, but every time is just careless. We definitely will not be ordering from here again."
