Two tacos driest chicken I ever had and cold. Chicken fingers with soggy fries and a chicken dinner drenched in a cold cream sauce on everything. I’d have to say that was the worst 53 dollars I ever spent. Don’t think I’ll be back after that experience and we are all sitting at home still hungry because the food was terrible. Food is always good, prices are reasonable compared to other spots in town, and I SO appreciate their grilled chicken kids meal(my kid loves pubs but doesn’t love fried pub/typical kids menu food) $20 dollar lobster rolls when in season awesome staff (Elaine and Katie are absolute gems) and good drinks. Happy to have them in town

I was in the area for the weekend after a show in Boston the night before. Stopped by to have a drink or two while watching the Patriots. Bartender claimed my ID was fake without any explanation as to why. Being from out of state, I figured maybe that was why, but have never had an issue before. Bartender attempted to charge me for drinks i did not order, when I asked for refund on my card she attempted to ignore me until I sought help at the other end of the bar. Then, she came running to talk to the person helping me. I feel it should be common sense to remedy this right away and not charge someone for drinks they did not order. I sent an email through the contact section of Hibernian Tavern a few days ago, and no one has attempted to reach out to me. Service: 1

Once I discovered this place, we started going every Sunday for lunch to hear the live music. The food is great. The menu is not huge, but I have tried several things and they’ve all been good. I’ve gone alone, I’ve gone with friends. Always have a good time.The music is Sunday 12 to 3. Sometimes Irish folk, sometimes regular folk, sometimes reggae – small group acoustic. I love it. the portions are quite generous. i had pork osso bucco, which had a lot of meat. The glaze was an unusual taste on a quinoa base. I found the spices different from my normal flavours but novel. the place has live music, reggae Sunday, which was nice but an hour of constant reggae was a bit tiresome. There are plenty of people and a good vibe. my wife mac and cheese gnocchi, which was tasty. this is an Irish bar and plenty of drinks invludibg guinness and some really interesting cocktails to try.
