"The brisket was lean and very tender (no knife needed) with a good char. The sauce was a bit vinegary for me, but it grew on me. It turned out to be a good contrast to the tender meat. I tried the BBQ beans (regular pintos but in BBQ sauce as you'd expect from the name) with a bit of heat from spices, and bits of brisket I enjoyed it. I was told to dip my Texas toast in the beans for a special treat. I did but I liked the beans better just by themselves. The decor is throwback to the 50s 60s, with Texas, Texaco, railroad and vintage as the theme."

The food they had was good but they only had 2 of the five or so meats they advertise. The art all over the walls was amazing. The owner was super nice.

We rediscovered HH today. We went there back in the 80’s and remembered it being very good. They did not disappoint. Staff was friendly, place was clean, food was fabulous. We highly recommend

Clean establishment and very delicious brisket. This is the best spicy barbecue sauce I have ever tasted. My companion loved the real sodas in the drink fountain! I look forward to returning there to dine in or take out BBQ.
