"The best most authentic int 'l food is ALWAYS in a strip mall or a little hole in the wall. This place is no different. Between Texas and California, my wife (Indian) and I have tried dozens and dozens of Indian restaurants over the last 20+ years. This is the first and only place that tastes like I 'm eating dinner at her mom 's table. Their food is absolutely outstanding. If I tried to name everything that we 've eaten here that tastes great I 'd just be reading their menu to you. SO many good dishes to choose from that it is hard to go wrong with any. The tandoori menu is amazing, their naan is different and amazing, their dal is perfect, their chicken Tikka, their palaak paneer, sabji, desserts, it 's all so good. Pick 5 things on their menu, I guarantee 2 or 3 will be the best you 've ever had. We drive nearly 30 mins to have dinner here and every time I leave I think the same thing...... that was worth it"

The best indian food in Austin, hands down with a very friendly owner. We order from here twice a month. The mango lassi and dal makhani are beyond outstanding. The restaurant was open during the snow storm and we ate the food daily. Incredible place all around.

This restaurant is truly amazing! The staff is incredibly friendly, and the food is consistently fresh. It gives you the feeling of a genuine home-cooked meal. We ordered the Chicken Lazeez, Chicken Lollipops, and Samosas, all of which were delicious. I highly recommend it!

Loved the food, the service and the ambiance. We tried a lot of things. Everything was fresh, perfectly spicy (not over spicy by any means) and super delicious. The goat sekua was a bit tough, the server had warned us that goat will be tough but it was delicious. Also not pictured is the lamb choila which was simply delicious. Will visit again for sure. The only downside was that the goat biryani had bone fragments mixed in with the rice. These were actual shards of bone, not just the typical bones found in pieces of meat. While I personally didn’t find this troubling, having grown up in an Asian food culture where encountering odd bits is normal, it caused significant concern for my Tex-Mex wife, which deterred her from enjoying the otherwise delicious biryani. All in all, my experience had its hiccups, but the people were friendly and the food was excellent.

Incredibly authentic and crafted with care, the food at this restaurant is simply outstanding. I arrived with no prior experience of Nepali or Indian cuisine, only knowing that I enjoy spicy dishes packed with flavor. The mango lassi is a perfect 10; I wish I could still be sipping it right now! We sampled a wide range of items from the menu, and I can honestly say I was not disappointed in the slightest. The staff were exceptionally friendly and truly made me feel at home. The food was beautiful and delicious. Great job!
