Hobbs Tavern Brewing Company

Had some late lunch and it was absolutely delicious. Good beer too. A must see if you are in the area.

After a long day of hiking, we made the decision to visit this restaurant. It had a cozy little patio, and we were fortunate to snag a table outdoors.

I'm a big fan of this restaurant! I went there two nights in a row, and both the food and service were outstanding. The burgers were incredible, and the tavern nachos were particularly tasty.

Absolutely amazing staff and service, our waitress was lovely. The food was hot, we tried some drinks we had never tried before, didn't love them, but love trying new things. My steak and veggies were cooked perfectly. The Cajun fries were bomb. We got 3different desserts and they were all amazing. The beer here is fantastic! I tried the raspberry gose and the Scotch ale, and both were excellently crafted. You can really tell that the breweries take pride in their work; the presentation in the glass was impressive, and the variety of styles they offer is well executed. The cans we took to go were also excellent. However, I have to take a star off for the food. The ribs were just okay, and while the BLT salad was good, it was missing salad ingredients, of all things. It seems like managing the kitchen must be as challenging as brewing the beer.

We arrived just before the rush and placed a takeout order. The new girl at the register seemed a bit overwhelmed, but her service was still quite good. However, the lady who was training her appeared to be losing her patience, which was evident in how she spoke to some of the customers. Perhaps she was just tired of dealing with people by that point? We ordered a variety of dishes, but the gluten-free turkey BLT was disappointing; the meat was bland, and the sandwich lacked flavor overall. On a positive note, the summer salad was lovely and refreshing, and the steak bites were excellent.

I just left this restaurant after trying to take my boyfriend out for his birthday. We were seated outside, which was one of the highlights of the evening. However, our waitress was very inattentive and seemed annoyed that we were there. We ordered cheese curds as an appetizer, but they had an overpowering seafood taste on the outside. We requested a Sprite and a beer, but they were served in small sizes, and we finished them quickly. The waitress never asked if we wanted more drinks, and someone else brought out our food instead.
