"How did this restaurant gets a four star rating is unbelievable. I?m not from the area and we wanted a nice Italian dinner and I always support local businesses. Unfortunately, we had a terrible experience with the food. The server had no idea what he was doing. We did not get homemade pasta as the chef or owner told us. The side salad was poor, dressing was good. It took so long to get our order and the place was empty when we arrived. I had penne alla vodka and it had a terrible taste. They had a steady stream of takeout orders and I really don?t know why anyone would ever eat there, because I will not. Also, why should I eat in a restaurant when the thermostat read 79 degrees? Are you serious?"

"I would like to start off the review by saying that the service was excellent. The wait staff was really on the ball and we had no issues with over-the-top wait times. I felt like they really cared about whether or not we had a worthwhile experience. The food, however, left a lot to be desired. For our appetizer, we ordered the arancini (fried risotto balls). They were nothing special, really just like any mozzarella sticks you'd get in a bar but in ball form. We've had better arancini. My husband ordered the beet salad, which was the highlight of his meal; he would highly recommend it and it is the only reason this review is getting 2 stars. I ordered the Caesar salad which was just okay. It was not what I was expecting; it was tossed in a red pepper oil so it did not taste like Caesar dressing at all. Then, for my husband's entree, he ordered the spring risotto. He said it was so salty that it was verging on inedible. Interestingly, my entree, the fettuccini with sun-dried tomato pesto was very bland. It had obviously been made with dried pasta from a box; I would expect that a nice Italian restaurant would use fresh homemade pasta, especially at these prices. Also, the bruschetta that came with it was really just their free focaccia bread grilled and limp. My favorite part of my meal was actually my drink, a Peach Bellini mocktail. Pretty sad when you think about it. We were so disappointed by the food that we didn't even order dessert. I had planned on ordering the chocolate torte since it was my birthday, but my daughter and I are both bakers and I didn't have the heart to be disappointed all over again. The ambiance was nice. The restaurant was nestled in a cute little inn in the heart of Leola, PA, but the table next to us was so close that we could smell the seafood they ordered, a bit off putting considering my husband is a vegetarian. All in all, we would not recommend this restaurant to anyone with tastebuds and we will not be going back."

"Stopped in for President's Day since all of the touristy restaurant spots were packed. We were so glad that we did. Really relaxed and kid friendly atmosphere, nice local place. Our waitress was helpful and friendly. Food came out quickly and was delicious. My 18 month old went crazy for the salad dressing. The garlic bread was perfect and a generous portion. I ordered the chicken Marsala with spaghetti and it was huge and tasty also. Plenty of mushrooms. I had enough for a midnight snack that night and a full meal the next day. My son had the pizza and there were no complaints! I only wish I had a bite because it looked sooo good. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Lancaster."

"Service was speedy and friendly. Our waiter Kevin was on point with his suggestions and knowledge of the menu. Now the FOOOOOOOOD OH MY GOD. I will absolutely be coming here as often as possible. I got the bacon grilled cheese with tomato bisque, and my boyfriend got the caramel burger with fries. We also got the coffee flight, which was the perfect balance of flavors and delicious high quality coffee."

"I hadn't visited this restaurant in over a year, and I don't plan to return anytime soon. The portion sizes can be quite small depending on what you order. I went there on a Friday night with a reservation at 5:45 PM, and when I tried to order one of the three desserts they had, they were already sold out. I attempted to order another popular dessert, but that was also unavailable. I wouldn't recommend ordering coffee; it was extremely strong and tasted like instant coffee. It also came with six creamers but still looked like muddy water."
